MSI has introduced its updated lineup of gaming laptops in India, featuring the newly announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, 5060, and 5070 Laptop GPUs.
The refresh includes three main series—Crosshair, Katana, and Cyborg—each offering updated internals, new GPU configurations, and refreshed designs.
MSI Crosshair Series
The MSI Crosshair series now comes equipped with:
- Up to Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX or AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX processors
- Paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
It is available in 16-inch and 17-inch variants. The design continues the spacecraft-inspired aesthetic, with a touchpad that includes the letters “C” and “H” as part of the Crosshair branding. The series reaches a total power output of 170W using MSI’s OverBoost feature.
MSI Katana Series
The Katana series is configured with:
- Up to Intel Core i9-14900HX or AMD Ryzen 9 270 processors
- GPU options include NVIDIA RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
It comes in 15-inch and 17-inch models. The updated exterior features a Midnight Gray finish with anti-fingerprint protection on the top panel. The lid includes a redesigned textured logo. The total power output of the Katana series reaches up to 115W.
MSI Cyborg Series
The Cyborg series includes:
- Comes with up to Intel Core 7 240H or AMD Ryzen 7 260 CPUs
- GPU options include NVIDIA RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
Available in 15-inch and 17-inch sizes, the new design introduces translucent edge detailing, surface curves, and symbolic Cyborg Heart logos. These elements contribute to a distinct industrial look aligned with the series’ cyber-themed identity.
