Vi partners with Anritsu for superior VoLTE calling experience in India

Vi (Vodafone Idea) has announced its collaboration with Anritsu headquartered in Kanagawa-Japan to enhance the VoLTE (Voice over LTE) calling experience for its customers in India.

Maintaining a top-notch voice service is crucial for providing excellent customer satisfaction. To achieve this, Vi has adopted Anritsu’s VoLTE monitoring solution, bringing benefits such as:

Anritsu addresses this challenge by providing comprehensive visibility and insights across various VoLTE dimensions such as subscriber, device, network nodes, codecs, and cell-id. This accelerates the identification and resolution of customer-affecting VoLTE issues.

By leveraging Anritsu’s patented anomaly detection on VoLTE, Vi has successfully reduced the mean time to resolution of issues by 30%. These real-time detections are crucial for enhancing the subscriber experience on VoLTE. The root causes of issues are promptly isolated and communicated to the relevant teams with actionable intelligence.

Vi has deployed Anritsu’s full suite of cloud-first applications, including eoMind anomaly detection, in its Open Universal Hybrid Cloud. This deployment has resulted in significant savings in capital expenditure (capex), operational expenditure (opex), resources, and automation investments.
