More Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ press images and specs surface

Samsung is just two days away from launching Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones. We already know major specifications of the phone and now a major leak has shared almost all the details of the flagships and a number of official images have also surfaced.

WinFuture has revealed images of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus in all the color variants that Samsung will offer. Both these phones will sport curved edge displays, with a resolution of 2,960 x 1,440 pixels and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8 inch display while S8+ will have 6.2-inch display. Moving on the report corroborates previously rumored specs like 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera, f/1.7 aperture, iris scanner, IP68 certified and more.

The flagships will come with rear-facing fingerprint sensor which supports gestures to open and close apps.  The Galaxy S8 is said to be feature a 3000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S8 will reportedly feature a 3500 mAh battery. Both smartphones would feature fast wireless charging. The smartphones would be offered in Black, Blue, Gold, Orchid Gray, and Silver, and official accessories would be offered in matching colors.

In addition, the website has also showcased Samsung Galaxy DeX Station that will allow S8 users to have a desktop experience. It features two USB 2.0 ports and comes with active-cooling system. It would offer a Windows 10 Continuum-like mode.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2017 will take place at 11:00 a.m. EDT (9:30 PM IST) in New York on March 29, 2017. According to latest reports both these phones will go on pre-order on April 10th and go on sale globally starting from April 21st.
