According to a new report, Google is planning to take Apple-like approach and control the design and build of the Nexus phones, without taking any inputs from OEMs.

Samsung announced Project Beyond designed exclusively to capture 360 degree videos back in November 2014. Now the company is rumored to unveil a virtual reality camera along with Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at its February 21st Unpacked 2016 event.

Alphabet, the parent company of Google is now worth around $568bn, compared with Apple, which has a value of $535bn. So it is now the most valuable company.

India has become the second largest smartphone market in the world, surpassing the US in terms of active unique smartphone user base with over 220 million users.

WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum announced the WhatsApp now has  over 1 billion monthly active users, which translates to one in seven people on Earth.
