Google Android One expands to Turkey, General Mobile 4G with 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 410, 2GB RAM launched

Google has expanded its Android One program to Turkey, which becomes the seventh country to get Android One smartphones officially after India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It has partnered with General Mobile for its latest Android One smartphone that has better specifications compared to its earlier Android One phones. It also has leather-like back cover.

The General Mobile 4G comes in Black and White colors and is priced at 699 Turkish Lira (US$ 262 / Rs.16870 approx.). It will go on sale in Turkey from May 15. We will have to wait till Google I/O later this month to find out if Google plans to bring the smartphone to other markets with other partners.
