Samsung debuts Chromebook 2 with Intel Celeron processor

Samsung has introduced a new version of  Chromebook 2 that boasts the Intel Celeron processor. The company already offers the Chromebook 2 with a Exynos processor.

The latest model comes with Intel’s Celeron N2840 CPU at 2.58GHz. It has a 1.6-inch FWXGA display,  2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage space. Other features include Intel HD Graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 ac, a HDMI port, 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 port. The device boasts of dual stereo speakers and 720p webcam and has a 4,080mAh battery that offers 9 hours on full charge.

Priced at $249, the Samsung Chromebook 2 is available for pre-order while shipping is expected next week. It will also be the first Chromebook to include Google Help, a feature where users will be able to get placed in line with next support agent by typing ‘Chrome:Help’ in to the Chrome’s address bar.
