YouTube’s premium music service to be dubbed as ‘Music Key’: Report

Rumors about YouTube planning to launch a subscription service were looming the web quiet some time now but today more details about the service are out. Android Police has revealed some screenshots of the streaming service which YouTube will call ‘Music Key’.

The new on-demand streaming music service will offer ad-free music with audio-only and offline playback. Also, users will have to pay $9.99 for access to a catalog of 20 million tracks. New users can get a 30-day free trial. Music Key will not only allow users to download music videos to their devices for ad-free offline playback, but enable background audio and audio while a device is sleeping. The service will offer access to over 20 million tracks, along with concert footage, remixes and videos.

There is no word on when will Google launch the YouTube subscription service. Also, it is reportedly said that Google Play Music All Access will be rebranded as Google Play Music Key.
