JBL has announced three new audio products: the PartyBox Ultimate 2 party speaker, Flip 7 Magnet mounting accessory and BassPro Go2 two-in-one subwoofer and portable speaker.
JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2
The JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2 delivers 1500W of audio output, over 36% more than the previous generation. Its upgraded acoustic architecture combines dual pro-grade PEN tweeters with acoustic horns, the same type used in JBL Professional systems, dual 5-inch mid-range drivers, dual 10-inch woofers and dual bass ports. JBL says this provides a wider soundstage, deeper bass, richer vocals and greater detail across the frequency range.
AI Sound Boost analyzes audio in real time and optimizes performance with low distortion, including at higher volume levels. The speaker also features a revamped PartyBox lightshow with ripple-wave effects across the full front panel, multi-layer lighting and floor projections synchronized with the music.
The PartyBox Ultimate 2 is the first PartyBox with an integrated touchscreen. Its volume dial doubles as a touchscreen controller for music, lighting and key settings, while the display can show the currently playing song and active lightshow. It also includes EasySing AI Vocal Removal for karaoke and party games.
Connectivity and hardware features include:
- Optical input for TV karaoke setups
- XLR line-in for DJ equipment
- Lossless USB-C audio playback
- High-quality Wi-Fi audio and Wi-Fi 6
- Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast
- AirPlay, Chromecast and Spotify Connect
- Larger wheels and an ergonomic, sturdy handle
- IPX4 splashproof design
- Recycled materials
It can also stream playlists, connect professional equipment and synchronize multiple speakers.
JBL Flip 7 Magnet
The JBL Flip 7 Magnet is a mounting accessory for the JBL Flip 7. Its contoured bracket uses high-strength magnets to attach to suitable ferrous-metal surfaces without rubber straps or clamps, while an included receiver plate supports fiberglass, aluminium, wood, plastic and other nonmagnetic surfaces.
The accessory is intended for boats, golf carts, RVs, ATVs, UTVs, bicycles, scooters and other indoor and outdoor locations. On boats, it keeps the Flip 7 off seats, decks and countertops while allowing the speaker to be removed and used elsewhere without permanent installation.
The receiver plate creates a dedicated mounting point and can extend placement to compatible screw or bolt locations, including bicycle bottle-cage mounts, as well as suitable wall or overhead locations where permitted by the installation instructions.
The bracket preserves access to the Flip 7 controls and USB-C port and avoids Bluetooth interference. It is also designed to withstand exposure to direct sunlight, salt water, mud, pressurized water and common cleaning liquids.
The Flip 7 provides up to 14 hours of playback, with up to two additional hours through Playtime Boost. It also features enhanced bass, clear high frequencies and JBL AI Sound Boost.
Other Flip 7 features include:
- Auracast for stereo pairing of two Flip 7 speakers or connecting multiple compatible JBL speakers
- USB-C lossless audio playback
- JBL Portable app for updates and customizable audio controls
- PushLock interchangeable accessory system
- Loop and carabiner supplied with the standard speaker
The Flip 7 Magnet can also be used by marine dealers, boatbuilders, installers, golf cart distributors, RV OEMs, powersports dealers and specialty retailers. Beyond vehicles, it can be mounted to suitable metal fixtures or receiver-plate-equipped surfaces in garages, workshops, patios, campsites and tailgating setups.
JBL BassPro Go2
The JBL BassPro Go2 is a two-in-one audio system that works as a powered subwoofer when secured to its 12V docking base and as a portable full-range Bluetooth speaker when removed. It is designed for marine and outdoor use across boats, canoes, kayaks, trucks, cars, UTVs, RVs and commercial vehicles, as well as docks, beaches, campsites, tailgates, jobsites and homes.
In subwoofer mode, the BassPro Go2 combines a 140mm active subwoofer, passive radiators, dual 40mm full-range transducers and Class D amplification, with 100W and 200W peak output. JBL Smart Loudspeaker Control models audio characteristics to maximize bass output and overall volume at higher listening levels, while reducing distortion and helping protect the transducers from mechanical and thermal stress.
The BassPro Go2 features:
- IPX4 rating with UV and salt-spray protection
- Conformal-coated circuit board
- Integrated handle
- Base plate for multiple onboard or in-vehicle mounting locations
- Quick-disconnect power and charging harness
- Remote bass control for adjustment from the helm or driver’s seat
- Up to eight hours of portable playback
- Multifunction USB-C for MP3 and WAV playback, firmware updates and 5V/2.1A charging
- AC home power adapter
When docked, it can provide low-frequency reinforcement to an existing audio system or operate as the primary full-range audio source. The JBL ONE app, available for the first time on a marine product, supports full-range and subwoofer modes, three bass-boost settings, stereo pairing, playback controls, product naming, Auracast assistance, software updates and support information.
The BassPro Go2 also supports the JBL Token Bluetooth Low Energy remote for track, volume, play, pause and mute controls. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast Broadcast Audio. Auracast allows the BassPro Go2 to connect with multiple compatible products, including JBL Auracast-enabled full-range speakers, for wireless low-frequency reinforcement alongside speakers such as the Flip 7.
The package includes:
- BassPro Go2
- Remote bass control
- Base plate
- Pigtail harness
- Home power adapter
- Installation manual
