Spotify has introduced a new listening stats feature that gives users a weekly overview of their music activity in a shareable format. The update lets listeners view their top artists, most-played songs, and personalized insights from recent weeks.
Listening stats
Listeners can find the new option by opening their profile menu and choosing the “listening stats” section. This tab presents:
- The most-played artists and songs from the past four weeks
- Insights into listening patterns and trends
- A weekly highlight marking key milestones or discoveries
The feature refreshes every week, showing updated top tracks and artists while generating playlists inspired by recent listening patterns. Each week also includes a special highlight that captures unique listening behavior, such as new discoveries or fan moments.
Users can share their weekly stats or individual highlights directly on Spotify or externally on platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp.
Integration with Spotify’s existing tools
Listening stats are part of Spotify’s personalized tools lineup, alongside daylist, Release Radar, and Discover Weekly, which focus on discovering and revisiting music. For users who want a yearly summary, Spotify’s Wrapped feature continues to provide a broader recap of their listening history.
Availability
The new listening stats feature is available to both Free and Premium users in over 60 markets worldwide.
