The newest version of the Logic Pro digital audio workstation includes AI-powered features like a studio assistant, enhanced Session Players, a Stem Splitter, and ChromaGlow.

Session Players now include Bass Player and Keyboard Player for a personalized backing band experience. Users can choose from eight different Bass Players and guide their performance with controls for complexity and intensity while leveraging advanced parameters for slides, mutes, dead notes, and pickup hits, said the company.

Stem Splitter enables users to extract individual parts from mixed audio recordings into four distinct parts: Drums, Bass, Vocals, and Other instruments, while ChromaGlow adds warmth to tracks with AI modeling.

Apple recommends the M-series Apple chipset for using Session Players on iPad and ChromaGlow on iPad, while it’s required for Stem Splitter on iPad and Mac. Additionally, an M-series Apple chipset is required for using ChromaGlow on Mac.
