Twitter rolls out Engage app for celebrities with real-time data and insights

Along with extending video recording limit on its platform to upto 140 seconds, Twitter has also rolled out a new app. Dubbed as Engage, the app gives popular video creators, celebrities, and public figures a better way to connect with fans and influencers.

It offers real-time data and insights which helps celebrities understand, engage, and grow their followers. The app will surfaces most important follows and @mentions from influencers and followers. Twitter says the app analyzes and outlines account performance and share important stats such as likes, retweets, @mentions and video views, and filter via different time periods.

Moreover, it will even offer audience demographics and a real-time feed of what their followers are tweeting about. The app reviews your videos, GIFs, images, and other Twitter activity, allowing users to efficiently track post-by-post performance and continue the conversation around their content.

Twitter Engage app is currently available only on iOS and in the US. No word about Android availability and global roll out.
