Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra Hands On and Photo Gallery

Asus made the Zenfone 3 Ultra official at the ongoing Computex 2016. We are live at the event and got our hands on the phone. So let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and specifications of the phone in the form of photo gallery.

The Zenfone 3 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with 95% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) with Adreno 510 GPU. Running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI on top, the phone comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB internal storage.

It has a 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-viewing angle. An earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors are also present at the front.

There is physical home button at the center that is equipped with a fingerprint sensor. There are two capacitive touch buttons on the either side of the home button.

The power/lock switch is present on the right side with a hybrid Dual SIM (micro+nano/microSD) slot.

There are no keys or buttons on the left side. The phone measures 186.4 x 93.9 x 6.8 mm and weighs 233 grams.

A 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top along with a microphone.

A USB Type C port, microphone and loudspeaker grills are present at the bottom.

The volume rockers are present at the back. There is a 23MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS and Laser autofocus.

The Zenfone branding is present at the bottom.

It has a aluminum alloy unibody design without any antenna lines running on the back, similar to the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB 3.0 Type-C. It has a 4600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra comes in Glacier Silver,Titanium Gray and Metallic Pink colors and starts at $479 (Rs. 32,225 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version.
