Pinterest expands Buyable Pins to Android

Pinterest debuted buyable pins first on iOS devices – on both iPhones as well as iPads. Now, they have announced that they will be bringing the feature over to Android devices as well.

As of now, there are over 60 million buyable Pins on Pinterest and that gives a lot of choice for the users in terms of products. All the user has to do is to check for a blue price tag which means that the product is available for purchase.

Then the user can tap “buy it” to check out and then once you’ve added all your information, you can place the order. The app can also save your information so that your next checkout process is much smoother and faster. The buying process is also very secure as no personal data is given out and the sellers are reviewed and approved by Pinterest themselves.

They will be releasing the Pinterest Shop in the coming few weeks on both iOS as well as Android. All users have to do is tap explore and then click on shop to get there.
