Flickr App for iPad goes live

Yahoo has finally released Flickr App for iPad that will enable users to access, organize and share photos from their device. The app will deliver a better experience with iOS 8 that will allow users to capture, improve, and explore images.

Prior to the launch of the standalone app, iPad users had to use Flickr’s mobile site that limited the photo browsing experience. The Flickr app now lets users browse images on their feeds in high resolution and contains a full camera interface and editing suite for shooting and editing photos. Besides a new user interface, Flickr also comes with its own iOS 8 share extension that allows photos to be shared through social media services like Tumblr, Facebook, and Twitter.

Finally, the app has an auto upload feature that will let you back up all of your pictures to Flickr’s 1TB of free storage space. Fickr app is available around the world in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish Portuguese, Indonesian, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese. You can download the Flickr app from Apple App Store.
