In a secret meeting at CES 2020, Samsung has reportedly named the upcoming successor to the Galaxy Fold as the ‘Galaxy Bloom’. In a report by the website ajunews.com, the Galaxy Bloom will apparently have a design that is inspired by the powder compact of the luxury cosmetics brand Lancome.
Western Digital is showcasing a variety of new SanDisk products at CES 2020, including the world’s highest capacity 8TB SSD prototype that features the SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps interface. Among the products that launched, Western Digital has released its newest dual connector drive with capacities up to 1TB.

Google is bringing a bunch of new updates to the Google Assistant today at CES 2020 that will be coming to everyone later this year. This includes features like Scheduled Actions, a central place for sticky notes, interpreter mode for businesses and support for the Assistant on more devices.
360-degree cameras are gaining popularity day by day due to the different perspectives that they offer and are now being used by a lot of content creators. GoPro, popular for its action cameras launched its 360-degree camera, but back in 2017, Insta360 launched the Insta360 One 4K 360-degree camera which became popular, and later the company launched the Insta360 ONE X. Following that now, Insta360 has announced its new ‘Insta360 ONE R’ which is a module action camera that gives users the freedom to change multiple lenses.
This year at CES 2020, Lenovo has introduced two new worlds first products, the first ever foldable PC called the ThinkPad X1 Fold and the first ever 5G laptop called the Lenovo Yoga 5G. Lenovo also announced a version of the ThinkBook series with a e-ink display, a couple of Chromebooks and three new smart home displays.
Legion, Lenovo’s line of gaming focused products has made a few announcements at CES 2020. Amazfit has announced T-Rex, the company’s first outdoor smartwatch at the CES 2020, as it had promised. It has passed 12 regulations of the military-standard (MIL-STD-810G) quality test and can withstand extreme heat and cold, is resistant against corrosion, moisture resistance and has a durable body. It has heat resistance of 70℃, resistance to severe cold of minus 40℃, has passed 240-hour damp heat test, and 96-hour acid-alkali test. Smartphone manufacturers have been improving the voice quality on smartphones through better hardware every time to offer the best voice quality experience to users. In the past, brands like Xiaomi have also experimented with Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system instead of an earpiece. Although the voice call quality also depends on the network, the quality of the voice calls made through Bluetooth accessories is not there yet. Now, Qualcomm’s new aptX voice codec aims to solve this issue and this comes after the introduction of aptX and aptX HD technologies for music streaming previously.

MediaTek just announced Dimensity 800, the company’s latest SoC in the Dimensity series with built-in 5G, as it had promised. This comes after Dimensity 1000 that was introduced back in November last year. The Dimensity uses 7nm process technology, same as the Dimensity 1000, but this features four Cortex-A76 cores operating up to 2GHz and four power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2.0GHz. The company just says Dimensity 1000-class GPU, combined with MediaTek gaming technology – HyperEngine without revealing the GPU model. Recently, Samsung teased the launch of a new “Artificial Human” at CES 2020 event and didn’t disclose many details then. Now, at the Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung has unveiled NEON Artificial Human which is powered by Core R3 and Spectra, and more details about the project have been revealed now.
OnePlus just announced the Concept One, the company’s first concept phone at its CES event today. The main highlight of the phone is its invisible camera electrochromic glass technology.
