Motorola has announced the launch of Honeycomb tablet, Motorola Xoom in Malaysia, which will be available on May 6th with Maxis Communications. This was launched in it Singapore recently. Motorola Xoom was showcased at CES 2011. The Wi-FI version was spotted last month and later it was officially launched in U.S at the end of March. Rumor: Motorola to reduce Xoom shipments gradually – Xoom 2 expected?

Motorola is expected to ship 700,000-800,000 units of their first Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet Xoom in the first quarter of 2011. With total shipment of 200,000 units in the month of February, which should reach 400,000-500,000 at the end of month of march, their forecast looks good according to upstream suppliers.
