At the ongoing Gamescom 2019 event, HONOR has announced its new gaming accessory -HONOR Gamepad. Alongside the announcement of the Gamepad, HONOR has also made a few gaming-related announcements at Gamescom 2019.
HUAWEI’s HONOR brand just announced its Vision TV, which is the company’s first smart TV at the Huawei Developer’s Conference (HDC) 2019, as it had promised. It has a 55-inch 4K screen with HDR support and 94% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to three-sided borderless full-screen design. It is powered HONGHU 818 quad-core SoC and runs the company’s latest HarmonyOS that offers multi-device interaction.
HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has launched the Honor Band 5 in India, after a teaser. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color 2.5D curved glass touch screen display with different watch faces, in addition to Home button. It comes with TruSeen 3.0 continuous heart rate tracking and is also water resistant up to 50 meters. The band has automatic activity tracking that lets you track 10 fitness activities such as running, cycling, swimming with swim stroke recognition and more.
HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced the Honor Band 5 last month in China. Now, the company has confirmed that it will launch in India soon on Flipkart. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED color 2.5D curved glass touch screen display with different watch faces, in addition to Home button, comes with TruSeen 3.0 continuous heart rate tracking and is also water resistant up to 50 meters. HUAWEI’s HONOR brand launched the HONOR 20i smartphone in the HONOR 20 series in India back in June for Rs. 14999, but it sold only the Phantom Blue and Midnight Black versions. Today the company has launched the Phantom Red Limited Edition in the country. It uses the same 3D photolithography technology with dynamic prism-shaped color gradient with a gleaming effect at the back, shining whenever it moves.

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand today announced that it has started rolling out EMIUI 9.1 update in India, after rolling it out HUAWEI P20 Lite last month. This brings new features including better UI Design, Gesture Based Navigation, GPU Turbo 3.0, all-new EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) and Advanced Battery management among other features. At the 2019 Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) and Science Revival Festival in Guangzhou, HONOR President Zhao Ming revealed key details regarding the upcoming HONOR TV ahead of the official announcement on August 10th, 2019. It will be powered by HONOR’s “intelligent display SoC”, pop-up AI camera and more.

HONOR has today launched a new smartphone named HONOR Play 8 in its Play series of smartphones and this joins the earlier launched HONOR Play 8A smartphone. HONOR Play 8 smartphone sports a 5.71-display, supports 4G VoLTE, runs Android 9 Pie on top of EMUI 9.0 and more.

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has announced that it will introduce HONOR 9X, successor of last year’s Honor 8X in China on July 23rd. The company has confirmed that it will be powered by Kirin 810 7nm SoC that was introduced along with the Nova 5 smartphone last month. The company did not share any other information yet, but @evleaks has posted a sketch of the phone that shows a no-notch (LCD) screen, pop-up front camera, which could feature a 32-megapixel sensor and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
