Samsung has started the roll out of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in South Korea. The Marshmallow build has leaked to the Galaxy Note5, Note 4 and S5 in the past accidentally but this is now an official update.
Earlier, rumours indicated that there would be at least 3 different variant if not 4, being announced at MWC in Barcelona, Spain that is scheduled to take place next month. Now, rumours state that there might be just 2 models being introduced next month, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.

Like every year, AnTuTu has released a chart of the best performing smartphones of the year 2015. Now, with the release of AnTuTu 6.0, other platforms are also included and that is good because the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus top the chart.
In November, a roadmap for Samsung’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow update had surfaced and it revealed that the Note5 and S6 edge+ would be getting the update sometime in December. One T-Mobile Note5 user even got the update to 6.0 accidentally but both the phones haven’t received the official release yet. However, it seems that Samsung is ready with the update for the Note 4 and they have already begun rolling out the update across some devices.

A software update roadmap for Samsung devices has just appeared online and it lists out 2 phases of updates for phones to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ will be the first to get it as they are scheduled for an update in December 2015 itself.

Conforming to market demands almost exclusively created by the Samsung Note series, Apple created two devices with two different screen sizes. So Samsung went ahead and released 4 devices with two different screen sizes and that’s mainly because of the success of the Galaxy S6 edge. It’s clear that the design is popular and rightly so, because it is still one of the best looking phones out there. For Samsung, it’d have been obvious to offer choice in screen sizes with the exact same form, so we have the S6 edge Plus, which was released alongside the Note 5. It’s bigger, but is it better?
