Google Assistant now lets users to schedule light timings

Google recently rolled out an update on Google Assistant that enables users to schedule lights on and off timings. Anyone who has a Google Home and smart lights know the drill. This feature allows users to schedule a smart home command to trigger at a later time. Google begins replacing ‘Voice Match’ function with Assistant-only lock screen access

Google is removing the ability to fully unlock the phone using Voice Match on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. At CES 2019, the company said that this feature would be coming to all Android devices. Replacing the full device unlock is the Voice Match recognition on phones and tablets can now only provide Assistant “personal results,” like email and calendar entries. At CES 2019, Google has introduced a preview of Google Assistant Connect which is a platform for device manufacturers to bring the Google Assistant into their products in an easy-to-implement way. Google also announced that it is bringing the Assistant to the Sonos One and Sonos Beam. LG to expand Google Assistant-equipped AI ThinQ TVs to more markets
