Intex has launched STAARi 11, the company’s latest budget smartphone with dual front cameras. It has an 8-megapixel front camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait selfies. It also has an 8-megapixel camera on the back. Both the cameras have LED flash. Other camera features include, Background Change, Night Shot, Face Beauty, and Burst Mode.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y2, selfie-focused smartphone in India back in June in Elegant Gold, Rose Gold and Dark Grey colors, today it has launched the Mesmerising Blue and Stunning Black color variants of the smartphone in the country. Apple unveiled iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, the company’s next-generation iPhones last week. Apple doesn’t mentions battery capacity for the iPhones on its site, and we usually find those details later on certification sites or in teardowns. Now all these phones have been certified by TENAA in China revealing battery capacities and RAM. To remind you, last year’s iPhone X comes with 2716mAh battery and 3GB LPDDR4x RAM. The 5.8-inch iPhone XS actually has a smaller 2658mAh battery compared to the iPhone X, but the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max packs a 3174mAh battery. Both these have 4GB of RAM. iVOOMi has launched iPro, the company’s latest budget smartphone with 4.95-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 aspect ratio shatterproof display. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek SoC with 1GB of RAM, runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) but it still has Smart Me OS 3.0. It has a 5-megapixel front and rear cameras. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, but comes with face unlock.
Xiaomi launched the Mi 5 smartphone back in 2016 running MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), earlier this year it got the Android 8.0 Oreo-based MIUI 9.5 update as well as new features. OnePlus has started teasing the company’s upcoming OnePlus 6T flagship smartphone in India. The company shows a short TV ad during the India vs Pakistan Match on Star Sports. The ad featuring Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who was roped in as the company’s brand ambassador last year, even shows the back of the phone. It also shows curved glass screen with curved corners.

Xiaomi has launched the Red edition of the Mi A2 that joins the Black, Gold and Blue variants that were launched last month. This comes months after the introduction of the Red Edition of the Mi 6X smartphone in China. Meizu today announced V8 and V8 Pro smartphones in China, both with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio displays. Both these run Android Oreo. The V8 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm SoC and have 12-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots, while the V8 is powered by a quad-core Quad-Core MediaTek MT6739 SoC and 13-megapixel single rear camera. Both these have a fingerprint sensor on the back and have a metal design.
Meizu, along with the 16X also introduced the 8X with the same Snapdragon 710 SoC, however this packs a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 18.5:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with 89.6% aspect ratio, 1.7mm ultra narrow bezels on the sides and 4.8mm bottom bezels.
