OnePlus just launched the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, the company’s second phone in the Nord CE range as it had promised. It has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and features a 16-megapixel camera, same as the predecessor. However, this is powered by Octa-Core Dimensity 900 SoC with support for 5G SA and NSA 5G and has support for 8 5G bands in India, unlike single band in the predecessor.
The phone runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 with a promise of 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates, same as the Nord CE. The company says that OxygenOS 12 will be available for the device in the second half of 2022. It has 64-megapixel rear camera, features an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It doesn’t have an alert slider that was present in the original Nord, but the 3.5mm audio jack is retained.
The Gray Mirror has a mirror-like finish with flashy overtones that looks like luxurious polished metal, while the Bahama Blue is smooth with a gradient finish that provides mesmerizing color transitions of blue and yellow, says the company.
The phone is 7.8mm thick, making it the slimmest OnePlus phone, since the OnePlus 6T, says OnePlus. The phone comes with a 4500mAh battery, which hasn’t changed from the predecessor, but the the Warp Charge 30T Plus is replaced by 65W SUPERVOOC fast charging that can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in 32 minutes.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G comes in Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue colors and is priced at Rs. 23,999 for the 6GB + 128GB version and the 8GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 24,999. It will be available from OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus experience stores as well as authorized partner outlets starting from February 22nd.
