Instagram is adding a new feature to Live Video. With the latest update you can now add face filters while sharing live video.
To use face filters in live video, tap the face icon in the bottom right corner before or during your broadcast. You can tap on any filter to check out a new look and even try on the new sunglasses face filter which will be available exclusively in live video for the next week. It will also let you change the scenery reflected in your lenses by tapping on it. When your broadcast has ended you can share a replay to stories, or choose “Discard” and your live video will disappear from the app as usual.
Instagram says the feature is rolling out to users around the world “over the next several weeks”.
