Asus Zenbook UX301 and UX302 with Intel Haswell processors announced

Asus Zenbook UX301

Asus has just taken the veil of its new series of Zenbooks. UX301 and UX302 Zenbooks are premium Ultrabooks with a sleek design and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The design of Zenbook seems to be its strength as Asus’ Spun design is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 giving it a highly glossy look.

The new series of Zenbook Ultrabooks were initially shown off at Computex 2013, but are being announced just now. The performance of Zenbooks is taken care of by Intel’s 4th generation (Haswell) processors. The 13.3inch display on both the devices comes with a resolution of 1920×1080 and 2560×1600 pixels giving it an extremely high pixel density. The 10point multi-touch IPS display offers rich colors and good saturation. The Zenbooks run on Windows 8 and has a choice to choose between Intel Iris Graphics card or NVidia’s GT730M graphics card.

The UX301 comes with 4GB / 8GB RAM and the UX302 come swith 4GB RAM. UX301 has 512GB SSD and UX302 has up to 750GB HDD with a 16GB SSD cache. Other features on both include, WiFi 802.11ac,  Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports on the UX301 and 3 USB 3.0 ports on the UX302, mini-DisplayPort.  micro HDMI 1.4, SD card reader and  3.5mm headphone/microphone jack.

The Zenbooks are coming in Moonstone White and Sapphire Blue color variants. There is no word on pricing and release date yet.
