ASUS RT-AC68U dual-band 802.11ac router launched in India for Rs. 21500

ASUS recently launched the RT-AC68U dual-band 802.11 ac router. Asus claims that this is the world’s first dual-band 802.11ac router with AC1900 data rates of 1900Mbit/s and personal cloud storage support. In terms of WiFi bands, the 802.11ac is actually three-times faster than 802.11n, but the RT-AC68U makes it even faster with a 2.4GHz data rate of 600Mbit/s. With the above things combined, the RT-AC68U is nearly 33% times faster than the ordinary WiFi routers.

The ASUS RT-AC68U features ASUS AiRadar technology that focuses the Wi-Fi for a stronger connection using beam forming and that is less prone to interference. Because of focussed WiFi, RT-AC68U is able to deliver WiFi across a more wider coverage area(150% more than the other routers.The RT-AC68U features the exclusive ASUS AiCloud technology that makes light work of sharing files without the fuss of managing user access rights and FTP access with a Router-to-Router Sync feature.It also makes transferring files between various connected devices easy and fast. ASUS RT-AC68U also comes with ASUS AiCloud that lets the customers sync, share, stream, and access content located on connected USB storage from any location, using the RT-AC68U as their home cloud server. ASUS AiCloud is compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows PC.
