Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the 15-inch version of Samsung’s Series 9 notebooks, at the company’s headquarters in Korea. 

The Samsung Series 9 notebooks were first introduced in February 2011, with the 13-inch version. The new 15-inch version of Series 9 will be one of the thinnest (14.9mm thin) and lightest (1.65 kg) notebook in its class, and comes with a stylish and sleek design.

The notebook features a 15-inch  ’Super Bright Plus’ display with 1600×900 resolution, Intel Core i5/i7 processor, boot speed of just 9.8 seconds, thanks to Samsung’s Fast Technology and SSD (Solid State Disk), Intel HD Graphics 3000, 8GB RAM, HDMI, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, etc.

The Samsung Series 9 15-inch model is now available with a price tag of 2.97 million won (US $2,640) with i7 version, and 2.32 million won (US $2060) for the i5 one.
