Now the sound system is much better than that of 7610. The phone supports 48 voice polyphonic sounds. The phone comes with few pre-installed MP3, Wav and MIDI tones. The ringtone output is loud and clear.
The good news is that the phone has stereo output. One of the major disappointments with the 7610 for me was the mono output. The mp3 playback is the best for a Nokia Smartphone so far. The phone uses Real Player to play audio and video files. Nokia have included a Stereo headset with the sales pack.
