Google has partnered with O-Zone to offer free WiFi for Google+ users across India, according to Business Standard. This initiative is to increase the mobile internet usage and let the consumers experience Google+ and YouTube on their portable devices.
Google+ users will get free and unlimited access to Google+ on the Wi-Fi network at all O-Zone hotspots across the country. They can also watch exclusive movie clips and promotions on YouTube for 10 minutes each week at no cost. Ozone has 5,000 Wi-Fi access points across India in various locations such as Coffee shops, Hospitals, Hotels, Book Stores, Restaurant etc.
This would go live this weekend and would be available for 3 months across India at all O-Zone Wi-Fi hotspots. O-Zone is also in talks with Google to make it a long-term contract. O-Zone plans to have 50,000 hotspots and become India's largest Wi-Fi services provider by 2013.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is currently known as one of the best Android tablet available in the market at the moment. We just showed you an ad in which Samsung is telling us how slim is the tablet really is and Samsung also told us that it's time to tab. Verizon recently announced that they will be launching it soon and now it will be hitting another major US carrier. Sprint has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 but not the 4G/3G version. Sprint will be launching the Wi-Fi version of it and they are officially launching it on June 24 and Sprint is launching the 16GB version for $499.99. It's Samsung first ever dual-core tablet rocking on 1GHz Tegra 2 processor, Android 3.1 and other amazing features.
Well this tablet is already available in USA via retailers like BestBuy, so what's the advantage of getting it from Sprint? If you are planning to pick one from Sprint, then you can also get Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless or MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Novatel Wireless to access Sprint's 4G network, now this is one good reason to pick up this tablet. No words on the price ...

At least not cheap like the AndyPad. AndyPad will be launched in UK in September and it's currently one of the most cheap and affordable tablets with some good specs. AndyPad runs on Android 2.3 a.k.a Gingerbread which is currently the latest version Android OS for mobile phones and other devices. Other than that, it's running on an A8 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and it also comes with a powerful 3D GPU, which means that users will be able to play games on this tablet smoothly. It comes with a 1080p HDMI output and it's going to be Wi-Fi only tablet. No words on the display and other specs of the tablet, but it's possible that it will feature capacitive display.
AndyPad will be available for £129 only and it will be officially launched after 74 days. So stay tuned with us because we will keep you updated. So anyone looking forward to get this good and cheap tablet this summer?

We told you last month that Sprint will be launching the first ever Honeycomb tablet known as Motorola XOOM, and at the moment it's available at Verizon Wireless and several retailers in USA. Today, Sprint officially announced the Motorola XOOM which is coming out on May 8th for $599. Only bad news is that the tablet is neither 3G nor 4G, it's Wi-Fi only tablet. So only Wi-Fi is bad news for people who were looking forward to a 4G tablet, but don't worry because rumors are on the street that Sprint will launch the 4G version of Motorola XOOM, so Sprint users will be able to use Sprint's fast WiMax soon.
Motorola XOOM comes with 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor which is blazing fast, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, 5 MP camera with flash and HD video recording, 2 MP front-facing camera for video chat, 1 GB internal display and it can be expanded up to 32GB with microSD card, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen display.
So Sprint users, are you buying the Motorola XOOM next week? Check out the press release after the break.

Back at MWC, HTC officially announced their first ever Android powered tablet which is known as the HTC Flyer. The device isn't running Honeycomb like recently announced tablets i.e. Motorola XOOM, LG Optimus Pad. But the device offers a completely different experience compared to other tablets available in the market. Thanks to HTC Sense UI for tablet and HTC Scribe feature. Its 3G version is currently available in UK for £599 which is expensive, but don’t worry because there is always a solution. If you don’t care about 3G then Wi-Fi version of Flyer is perfect for you.
UK retailer Currys is offering the Wi-Fi HTC Flyer for only £479. You get the same features, but only 3G is missing which means no SIM card slot. Well, Motorola is also offering the XOOM Wi-Fi version for almost the same price. So I think that Wi-Fi version of Flyer is still expensive, so HTC should consider on it if they want to take down other tablets.
Anyway, it’s a nice price for you if you are a diehard HTC fan, so if you can’t wait then get it from Currys right now! The device is expected by 17th May.

Tata Docomo has launched a device called the 3G Wi-Fi Hub, a Dual-mode device which works on both TATA Photon Plus CDMA and Tata Docomo 3G network. The 3G Wi-Fi Hub is nothing but a pocket WiFi router similar to the Vodafone MiFi and you can share your internet connection with any device that is Wi-Fi enabled. We think it's a pretty interesting device as you can get reliable data access from either the GSM network or CDMA network.
Tata Docomo 3G Wi-Fi Hub Features
Tata Docomo 3G: DL up to 7.2Mbps; UL up to 5.76Mbps
Tata Photon Plus: DL up to 3.1Mbps; UL up to 1.8Mbps

	Weight: 80g
	Wi-Fi 802.11b/g (WEP/WPA/WPA2)

	Connects up to 5 devices

HTC Flyer is an impressive device and you may have seen our hands-on video. We told you a few days ago that HTC will officially launch it in April and we also told you that the tablet will go for 499 Euro which is approximately $700. In USA, BestBuy will be carrying the Wi-Fi version of it. Yesterday, Sprint also announced the HTC EVO View 4G, which is actually Sprint’s version of the HTC Flyer.
HTC Flyer comes with some good features. HTC fans were actually expecting a Honeycomb tablet, but HTC Flyer is running on Android 2.4. So hopefully, HTC will also launch tablets with Honeycomb. Have a look on the specs of HTC Flyer:
Two cameras: rear (5MP) and front (1.3MP) that support video chat
7" touch screen (1024 x 600 TFT) that takes input from fingers or optional digital pen
	Wi-Fi capability (802.11 b/g/n)
Android operating system with access to apps from Android Market
	Adobe Flash support
Bluetooth 3.0 with stereo headsets lets you enjoy music and movies wirelessly
Output to larger screens enabled through MHL port and DLNA capability
SRS WOW HD surround sound ...

Lufthansa will be the first airline to offer in-flight internet access on intercontinental routes. The service will be offered under the banner FlyNet in partnership with Panasonic Avionics. FlyNet will be initially available only on select North Atlantic routes but they plan to offer it on the airline's entire intercontinental network by end of 2011.All you need is a WiFi enabled device be it a laptop , iPad , iPhone , iPod , Blackberry or any Smartphone and you can browse the web in the middle of a boring and tiring flight.
The service is expected to offer Download speeds upto 5 Mbps and upload speeds upto 1Mbps . GSM services such as SMS and GPRS will be available soon and you can send text messages or your phone's data plan inside the flight.
This is how the service works according to an illustration on the company's website.
The service will be initially available on Airbus A330 Aircrafts and will be soon available on the Boeing 747 and Airbus 340. And the best part is that the service is not restricted to business class but available to all passengers who are willing to pay.The price would be around 11 euros for 1 hr access ...

Finally, after a long 2 year wait, Apple has officially announced the Apple iPhone with Unicom as its official network provider. But, as it always is with Apple, the Chinese versions of the iPhone will be shipping without what may be it's most important feature, WiFi.
Yes, apple have released a WiFi-less iPhone, something that I consider very important since the iPhone's software is kinda designed to always work best on WiFi networks. But if you Chinese guys(and ladies) can live without WiFi then you can always pick them up at 4,999 yuan($730) and 6,999 yuan($1,025). This pricing is quite strange since a regular iPhone 3GS(with wifi) can easily be bought for $835 in the black.
But this WiFi-less version of the iPhone may soon disapear considering that this initial batch was built when the Chinese government had it's WiFi ban in force and since this was recently lifted I guess it won't be soon before we see WiFi coming to these chinese iPhones. Maybe this is why the folks over at 163.com are reporting that there aren't many people rushing to buy the iPhones.

We have seen 12MP camera-phones from brands like Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson. Although Sony Ericsson was the first to announce a 12MP camera-phone, Samsung overtook it and launched theirs ahead of Sony Ericsson's.
The Samsung 12MP camera-phone goes under the name of M8910 PIXON 12. It's a rich handset in terms of camera but not quite the all-rounder that the i8910 OMNIA HD is.
Soon after both the handsets hit the market, we heard rumours about a new handset in the works. It was said to have features of both the M8910 PIXON 12 and i8910 OMNIA HD and even more!
The handset in the above picture is the Samsung SCH-M880, a Korean variant of the below pictured M8920.
The earlier picture showed the backside of the 12MP phone. The new picture gives us a sneak look at the side buttons. The side buttons which we assume to have camera controlling functions look very similar to the controls on real digital cameras.
The handset features include:
- 3.3 inch WVGA AMOLED Touchscreen display
- 12 Megapixel Camera with 3x Optical Zoom, Xenon Flash and LED Flash
- HD Video Recording at 30fps
- Dedicated camera control, mode dial, shutter and zoom
- UMTS/HSDPA
- WiFi
- GPS
- Bluetooth
- MicroSD card slot

They have released two versions, one for their Symbian version and the other for their Windows Mobile Version. There is yet no news as to why they have not released an update for their Symbian UIQ version.
For symbian S60, this in version 3.35 is more stable than ever and also brings all round better sound quality. Speakerphone support is added for devices running on top of Symbian 9.2 (S60 3.1), and file transfer is now enabled for Yahoo! IM and Skype.
For Windows Mobile the version is 3.24, supporting a feature that enables auto-roaming between 3G and WiFi, and also allows users to manually manage their WLAN settings directly from fring. In addition, fringME widget support is added and so are additional languages. In total the VoIP application is now available in 8 languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Italian and Russian.
