Google Play Store India now sells the 16 GB Nexus 7 for a price of Rs. 15,999

It has been a while since we saw the Google Nexus 7 *officially* launch in India for Rs. 19,999/- but now, out of the blue, we have got the devices page on the Indian Google Play Store selling the Nexus 7 directly for Rs. 15,999 for the 16 GB version. Earlier, it was Croma, the Tata retailer that was selling it, but looks like we are finally seeing Google directly selling the device.

Asus Padfone Infinity launching in Taiwan this week


Asus Padfone Infinity that was announced last month in MWC 2013 would be launched in Taiwan on 26th March, according to a recent report from Central News Agency. The Padfone Infinity is the third device in the Padfone series, which follows the similar design as the first two Padfone devices. It lets you dock the phone in the Padfone station, which can be docked in a keyboard. The Padfone Infinity packs a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). iBall has a launched the Edu-Slide i1017, the company’s new tablet in the Edu series aimed at students. It has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor with Quadcore GPU. It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. This would compete with the 10-inch tablets, the Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010 and the Videocon VT10. Lava has launched E-Tab Connect, the company’s first tablet with 3G support and voice calling as they promised. It comes with a 7.0-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A ARM Cortex A5 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 2MP rear camera, apart from the 0.3MP front-facing camera. It has a SIM card slot that offers 3G connectivity and voice calling support. Lava to launch 7-inch Tablet with 3G, Voice calling soon

Lava Mobiles has announced that it would launch their first tablet with 3G and Voice calling support soon. Lava launched the E-Tab XTRON, the company’s first Android tablet running Android 4.1 last month, but it lacked a SIM card slot and voice calling capabilities. The upcoming E-Tab would come with both these features, but it would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) instead of Jelly Bean. The Zync Dual 7.0 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and both the Quad 8.0 and Quad 9.7 tablets are powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processors. The Zync Dual 7.0 has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) 5 point multi-touch display, Zync Quad 8.0 has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 10 point multi-touch display and the Quad 9.7 comes with a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) LED-backlit Super HD IPS 10 point multi-touch retina display. Sony launched the Xperia Z in India today, and at the launch event the company announced that the Xperia Tablet Z would go on sale in India in May 2013. The Xperia Tablet Z was originally announced in Japan earlier this year, at the MWC 2013 the company announced that it would roll out globally from Q2 2013. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with voice calling support and 3G connectivity through an external dongle. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Note 510) Photo Gallery

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 as the Note 510 for the Indian markets at the Samsung Forum 2013 in Hyderabad yesterday. We got some hands-on time with the 8-inch tablet at the event. It has a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT Super Clear LCD display at 189 ppi pixel density, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. Hyderabad, March 1, 2013 – Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 510 (Galaxy Note 8.0) in India. The Galaxy Note 8.0 was announced at the MWC 2013 last week. The Samsung Galaxy Note 510 comes with a 8.0-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) TFT display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). Asus MeMO Pad 7-inch Tablet with Android 4.1 launched in India for Rs. 9999

Asus has launched the MeMo Pad (ME172V) in India. It was announced last month, and comes with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive multi-touch display, powered by  a 1GHz WonderMedia PRIZM WM8950 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 1MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor, 720p HD video capture at 30 fps and ƒ/2.0 aperture.
