Micromax said to launch Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone this January for Rs. 2000

Android Oreo (Go Edition) is Google’s trim down version of Android for low-cost phones with 512MB to 1GB RAM. The company announced the project back in May and said that it would be available from early 2018. The company is all set to launch the first phone in India in partnership with Micromax later this month, according to a new report. Nokia 6 (2018) specifications detailed on TENAA – 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB RAM

Nokia 6 (2018) with the model number TA-1054 surfaced on TENAA last month, showing a large display with minimal bezels, now the specifications of the phone has been detailed on the certification site that confirms that it will have a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and not 18:9 ratio as expected. It also reveals a faster Octa-Core SoC, which is rumored to be Snapdragon 630.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 640 specifications surface

Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 high-end Mobile Platforms back in May this year, which is being used in most top-end and mid-rage phones. Now specifications of their successors – Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 640 have surfaced in China. According to the rumors, Qualcomm will finally move to 10nm LPP processor technology for its high-end “Snapdragon 600” series with the Snapdragon 670, but it will stick to 14nm LPP tech for the mid-range Snapdragon 640 SoC.

Apple said to be considering MediaTek modems for next-gen iPhones

Back in October, there was a WSJ report that said Apple is planning on ditching Qualcomm for MediaTek modems for next-gen iPhones that will launch in 2018.
