Yesterday Nokia all but confirmed the white Lumia 800, which we will go hands-on soon. But they also showed off another Windows Phone device. Whether accidental or intentional, the Lumia 900 sans AT&T logo is featured, in plain sight, on their Facebook page. And in white.
While Nokia has not confirmed the international variant of the Lumia 900, it is expected that the specifications will remain the same as the AT&T version, minus the LTE radio. As MWC is in the next couple of weeks, speculation is rife that Nokia will announce the GSM version of the Lumia 900, and this leak will only further confirm that.

The smartphone in the press image above is the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus. The image was uploaded onto Twitter by Eldar Murtazin.
The device is said to feature a faster 1.5GHz Dual Core Processor. Not much other information is known about the device but it does look very identical to the Galaxy S II which gives us reason to believe that it could be the Galaxy S II Plus.
However for the very same reason, we also think that it could very well be a fake image. The screen seems to look a little odd as well. The home button is now missing and three new Android Ice Cream Sandwich style buttons have been added.
So if the photo is indeed real, this could suggest that Samsung is not yet ready to do away with keys completely. The phone also seems to have a slimmer waistline. The top looks tapered and the bottom bump is not very evident. Hence it might have gotten smaller or the bump has been removed altogether. But due to the angle of the image, its very tough to decide.
With Samsung officially confirming that the Galaxy S III will not make an appearance at MWC (Mobile World ...

Samsung might announce a new Galaxy Tab with 2 GHz Exynos 5250 processor and a display with WXQGA (2560×1600 pixels ) resolution display at Mobile World Congress (MWC) according to androidandme. It would obviously run on the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
Samsung mentioned in their earnings call that they are sampling the Exynos 5250 SoC and would begin mass production for their devices from Q2 2012. The Exynos 5250 processor A15 chip clocks at 2GHz and would support WQXGA (2560×1600 pixels ) resolution display. Some sites are also reporting that it would come with a larger 11.6-inch display and S-pen support.
The Cortex-A15 and Mali-T604 would deliver better speed and graphics with memory bandwidth of 12.8 GB/s and better power consumption. They unveiled the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 at MWC 2011 that was available in April 2011. Even if the new tablet is announced at the MWC 2012, we can't expect it till the end of Q2 or Q3 since they would start producing these chips in Q2 2012.
Let's wait till the end of February for the MWC to know more.

We already know that MeeGo is dead! For the unknown, the Tizen OS is the successor of the MeeGo OS. It is an open-source Linux-based project developed by Samsung, Intel, Panasonic, Vodafone, NTT DoCoMo and the Linux Foundation. According to the rumors, Samsung is expected to announce its first Tizen based device next month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012 in Barcelona. The guys at SamMobile recently shared some screenshots of the new Tizen OS.
The screenshots are not taken from a real device, but someone got his hands on the TIZEN SDK and took several screenshots. The UI of the Tizen OS looks quite similar to the Samsung's very own Bada Operating System. The above screen shot clearly shows the notification bar on the top of the screen, a five button shortcut and a homescreen which allows you to customize it with app icons and widgets.
The screenshot posted below, shows the device name as Samsung I9500 via browser's user agent. It means that, the much-awaited Tizen OS might debut on a Samsung smartphone in the coming weeks. Interestingly, the Samsung I9500 name was connected to the Samsung's third-gen Galaxy S device, when a photo was leaked last year. Now, ...

Research In Motion (RIM) might show off their new BlackBerry OS 10 (BBX) at MWC 2012 in February according to a report from pocket-lint. They announced the BBX, their next generation mobile platform at the Developer Conference this October and later changed it to BlackBerry OS 10 at Developer Conference Asia in December due to a ruling by a US District Judge which prevents RIM from using the BBX brand. There were lots of rumors about the BlackBerry OS 10 devices such as BlackBerry London. They were also news that these devices might come with high resolution display, BES and better specs similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook and not look like the BlackBerry Bold.
The BlackBerry OS 10 platform will include BB 10 OS, and will support BlackBerry cloud services and development environments for both HTML5 and native developers. It would also have deeper integration and interaction between apps and social platforms.
RIM would showcase the new BlackBerry OS 10 operating system at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, however new BB OS 10 devices would be available only in later 2012. It is not clear whether they would display the BlackBerry OS 10 devices at the event or not.

Earlier, we brought you the news that next year, the iPad launch might take place on February 24th, Steve Jobs birthday. Rumors state that next year, Apple is going to give us not one but two new iPads.
The new devices will bring a tablet line-up that is very similar to the iPhone line-up. The iPad 2 will remain as a cheaper variant like the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4 while the two new tablets would be priced as mid-range and high-range tablets.
Both the new iPads are said to feature the same dual LED backlit 9.7" display with 2048x1536 pixels resolution. We do not know what features distinguish the models from each other.
A smaller 7" tablet was reported as well but we think they might have given up that idea since Apple doesn't like to have too much diversity in the screen department because it causes problems with applications. The same issue was reported to be the cause of the iPhone 5 launch being delayed. So even if Apple is planning to eventually launch the device, the source says it isn't going to be launched next year.
The launch date suggested by DigiTimes is sometime in January rather than the February ...

The first two Galaxy flagships - the Galaxy S and the Galaxy S II have had great success and Samsung are doing their best to make sure the next generation Galaxy flagship will grab everyone's attention as well.
The original Galaxy S was a great device but it wasn't perfect. The Galaxy S II on the other hand is still one of the best phones on the market and most phones that are put against it end up performing worse in comparison.
With the Galaxy S III, they're looking to provide customers with the best of technology and rumors indicate that Samsung might put a quad core processor in the device. We've heard several rumors in the past. Some indicate that the phone will feature a 1.8GHz Dual Core processor while others suggest a Quad Core processor (Clock Speed 1.2 - 1.5GHz ?). We think that there's more chance of it being the latter. Samsung have been making the impossible in the past few years and next year might be no exception. But if they're unable to perfect it, they might play it safe and fit a dual core processor with faster clock speed.
As for the naming, there's a possibility that it ...

The rumors for the next Apple product have already started and this one states that Apple might be readying the iPad 3 for a launch on Steve Jobs' birthday.
According to a Chinese newspaper, the company is reportedly set on launching its new tablet, the iPad 3 on February 24th which happens to be the birthday of Apple founder and late CEO Steve Jobs.
But Apple do to usually go hunting for special dates to launch their products, instead they believe that launching their products would make their products special and it is highly unlikely that they will announce the product unless its completely ready.
So we can't be sure right now if the launch would indeed take place on February 24th but we can be sure that it'll be a great tribute to Steve Jobs if it does.

Yes, you read the title right. The phone is indeed called Sony XPERIA LT22 ( codenamed Nyphon). The phone in the leaked picture above might be the first re-branded XPERIA phone.
News about a complete takeover of Sony over from Ericsson had been rumored several times over the years. But in October this year, Sony purchased 50% of the share in Sony Ericsson which is basically the share that was owned by Ericsson.
As a result the company would encounter an image and branding makeover. The company would now be known as Sony rather than Sony Ericsson. The re-branding was rumored to be done by June 2012 but we can be sure that it'll take place before 2012 end.
The Sony XPERIA Nyphon is one of the first XPERIA handsets since the re-branding. The Nyphon seems to retain most of the styling aspects from its predecessors. It looks like a mixture of both the XPERIA X10 and the Vivaz models.
The specifications of the device are:
	1GHz Dual-Core U8500 Processor from ST-Ericsson
	8 Megapixel Exmor R Camera
1GB RAM, 16GB Built in Memory
Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 Later on)

New image of Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD ( Previously known as Nozomi LT26i) has surfaced in Hong Kong which is reportedly going through carrier testing. The phone has Sony Ericsson brand name on the top and has a new Xperia UI. There is a front-facing camera on the top-right and there are 3 capacitive touch buttons for back, home and menu. Xperia Blog got hold of a rendered image last week and the device resembles the image.
It is expected to sport a 4.3-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) display and run 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It might come with 12MP camera with Sony's Exmor R technology, 1GB RAM, 32GB ROM and a sealed 1750mAh battery. It is not clear which version of Android it would run, however it would get the Android 4.0 update eventually if it runs on Android 2.3 initially. The phone is expected to launch at CES 2012 similar to the Xperia Arc.

Most people were disappointed when Apple didn't announce the iPhone 5 or the much rumored iPhone Mini. Now its the iPad's turn to be the rumor generating device.
Back in July, we heard rumors of Apple working on a HD version of the iPad2 but it was later revealed that it has been cancelled.
According to Brian White, an analyst at Ticonderoga Securities, Apple is working on a mini version of the iPad which will cost around 250-300 US$. Mini doesn't necessarily mean that its smaller but instead have lower pricing.
It would help Apple target competitors like the Amazon Kindle Fire. Along with the cheaper "Mini iPad", Apple would also announce the iPad 3 which will be an upgrade to the iPad 2 and will be priced similarly.
He says that the "Mini iPad" would be launched in Q1 2012 and the iPad 3 in Q2 2012.

The Google Nexus Prime, the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich device that will be manufactured by Samsung has been spotted on a Singaporean online store.
The site shows three pictures of the phone. One being the picture from the teaser for the event that Samsung had released a while ago. The second picture being the one that was leaked a few days ago and believed to be the Google Nexus Prime.
The third picture is of the back but seems to be a picture of the back of the Nexus S. We're not sure how legit it is since there's no information given about the handset.
The device was supposed to be announced at an event on 11th October but Google and Samsung called off the event to pay respect to Steve Jobs. The phone is now expected to be released on 19th October.

An Anonymous tipster just sent us this rather shady picture of the rumoured Nokia 800 for Airtel India. We are not sure why the image is in Black and White and not in colour. But anyways Airtel and Nokia have been long time partners and it's very much possible that Airtel might be the first to carry the first Nokia Windows Phone device which is expected to be unveiled later this month at Nokia World.
UPDATE: The source sent us a color version of the same image and it looks a lot more credible now.
The device in the picture looks like the Nokia SeaRay which is also making rounds as the Nokia 800. We should be finding out the real name of the device pretty soon. We are still not convinced about the authenticity of the image so do take this news with a pinch of salt !

We're just a few hours away from the most anticipated phone event of the year and we have received some breaking news. Sources say that there might just be one iPhone tonight.
It seems that only the Apple iPhone 4S will be announced tonight and that the iPhone 5 will not make an appearance.
The iPhone 4S is basically an iPhone 4 with more powerful hardware while retaining the same design. The iPhone 5 was rumoured to be the next generation iPhone with a brand new design and aluminum body.
The several case leaks also supported the theory that the iPhone 5 will be announced tonight. But the source seems to be very certain that it will not be announced.
All we can do now is just wait and hope that it will be announced.

	Apple A5 Processor
	1GB RAM
8 Megapixel Camera (3264x2448 Pixels Resolution) with Enhanced Optics

The big day is finally here. Apple is all set to announce the next generation iPhones today. But we've still got some iPhone 4S news for you before the announcement courtesy of Vodafone Germany. It seems that the cheaper iPhone 4S that is said to be launched with the iPhone 5 will have a 64GB variant. This is the first time an iPhone has stretched beyond the 32GB capacity.
This would lead us to believe that the iPhone 5 will also have a 64GB variant. The iPhone 4S will also be available in 16GB and 32GB versions.
The source also mentions that the iPhone 4S will use the same bumpers that the iPhone 4 uses. So you could say that the design hasn't had any major changes.
Both Black and White variants seem to be available. The site makes no mention of the iPhone 5 which does not necessarily mean that it does not exist but merely that it has a different design.
Perhaps the iPhone 5 will have a unibody construction and will have a silver paint job like the current generation Macbooks.

We had earlier reported that Apple is planning to launch an HD version of the iPad 2 later in 2011. But now it seems that the model has been cancelled.
Peter Miserk of Jefferies and Co said that the cancellation of the iPad 2 HD has resulted in the need for 1 Million units to become retooled.
The iPad 2 Q4 2011 manufacturing has also been cut down from 13.6 Million units to 12 Million units.
Misek reported that he expects to see a new iPad 3 earlier next year probably in January 2012 and that the reason for the decrease in manufacturing is due to inventory caution taken considering the potential demand slowdown.

We already saw the Apple iPhone 5 and 4S names appear on Cincinnati Bell. Now Apple has accidentally revealed the iPhone 4S name in the latest iTunes beta that was released on Friday.
The phone is described as the iPhone 4S but it uses the same icon as the iPhone 4 CDMA which suggests that it should look very similar to the iPhone 4 if not exactly the same.
The picture of the iPhone 4 might just have been a placeholder but rumors suggest a phone that looks similar to the iPhone 4.
Even though the design and dimensions might stay the same, we could expect to see some hardware changes like the difference between iPhone 3G and 3GS. But since it's supposed to be a cheaper model, its quite possible there would be no change at all.

The Apple iPhone 5 and the 4S may just be a day or two away from the official announcement but that hasn't stopped rumors for the next generation iPhone 6 from surfacing.
The rumor suggests that we may soon see iPhones and even iPads with curved displays. A similar rumor had circulated before the Apple iPhone 4 was announced but it turned out to have a regular flat screen.
Earlier in May this year, Apple had purchased 200-300 glass cutting devices specialized in curved glass. Although the May purchase might make it appear as if the iPhone 5 might have a curved display as well, sources say otherwise.
What we can do now is just wait and see if the iPhone 5 has a curved display. If not theres always next year to look forward to.

The folks over at TheNokiaBlog(unofficial) have got their hands on a purported image of the Nokia SeaRay in what looks like marketing material of T-Mobile Germany. Highlights include a 3.7 inch AMOLED display and 3D navigation and Windows Phone Mango 7.5.We are not sure if SeaRay could be the final name of the device as it sounds more like a codename. The device does look attractive and looks very similar to the Nokia N9.We are not sure about the legitimacy of the image , so do take this news with a pinch of salt. Nokia is expected to announce it's first Windows Phone device before the end of 2011.

Amazon had announced a press conference tomorrow a few days back, well we all know that Amazon is coming up with an Android based tablet which will be directly competing against the iPad, and we are sure that they are going to talk about this device and show it tomorrow in their press event, but now Techcrunch is reporting that it will be a 7" tablet which will be named Fire.
Well personally I don't like the name, I mean naming a tablet Fire is a bit weird, anyways the so called "Fire" will be sporting a dual core TI OMAP processor, we are guessing OMAP 4430 clocked at 1.2 GHz, this processor can also be found on the Blackberry Playbook and the Motorola Droid/Milestone 3.
There is also a rumor that Amazon's tablet will be costing around $250 will also be able to stream movies and TV as they have been talking with Fox from a long time now. Well all this is just a rumor and some of them an assumption. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
