Last month TCL announced that it will unveil new BlackBerry brand of smartphones at the CES 2017. Qualcomm and Osterhout Design Group (ODG) have announced R-8 and R-9 smartglasses that are powered by Snapdragon 835. The smartglasses were announced at ongoing CES 2017. R-8 is ODG’s first consumer mobile AR/VR smartglass that is targeted at the consumer early adopter while R-9 is for a wide variety of wide field-of-view (FOV) experiences from light enterprise, to prosumer media consumption, and as a development platform for sophisticated mobile AR/VR and smartglasses applications. Kingston Digital today at the CES 2017 introduced DataTraveler Ultimate GT with 2TB of storage, making it the world’s largest capacity flash drive. It measures just 72x 26.9 x 21mm and can accommodate up to 70 hours of 4K UHD-resolution videos, according to Kingston. This is smaller than SSD so it can be carried easily in your pocket. Huawei’s Honor brand today introduced the Honor 6X smartphone for global markets, few months after it was introduced in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 655 16nm processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. It has a 12-megapixel camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), LED flash and a secondary 2-megapixel for achieving depth of field and background blur.
