HMD Global just launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus, the company’s latest Android One smartphone in India, as it had promised. Motorola has launched One Power Android One smartphones in India as it had promised. It was introduced at the IFA a 6.2-inch 19:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ display with a notch and 81% screen-to-body ratio, has dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with a Motorola logo. It runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update as well as Android Q update for the phone, as well as security updates for three years from the initial global launch date. It also has support for Widevine Level 1 DRM so that you can stream Netflix and Amazon Video in HD resolution. Vivo launched the V9 smartphone in India back in March. Now the company has announced that it will launch the V9 Pro smartphone in India on September 26th. It was introduced as V9 6GB back in June in Indonesia. It has the same 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with a notch, 90% screen-to-body ratio and 1.75mm slim bezels and runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.0 as the V9, but this is powered by Snapdragon 660 AIE with 6GB of RAM. Samsung has launched the Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+smartphones with Infinity displays after they were announced a few days back. Both the smartphones have 6-inch HD+ Infinity displays, Quad-Core SoC, which could be Snapdragon 425 as rumored earlier, but the company says that the SoC differs depending on the region. These run Android 8.1 (Oreo) and pack a 3300mAh battery. The J6+ will feature a fingerprint sensor on the right frame as well as dual rear cameras, which the J4+ lacks.
OPPO’s Realme brand already teased the Realme 2 Pro smartphone in a video recently and also said that the phone will launch on September 27th exclusively on Flipkart. The company has also confirmed some of the specifications including Snapdragon 660 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM and dual rear cameras with AI features, on its social channels. The phone will feature a Dewdrop Full Screen display with minimal bezels.

GoPro launched the HERO7 series of action cameras in India, after they were introduced yesterday. The GoPro HERO7 has HyperSmooth, which the company says is the best in-camera video SuperPhotostabilization ever featured in a camera, offering gimbal-like stabilized video without a motorized gimbal. The feature also works underwater and in high-shock and wind situations.
As promised, Apple has started taking pre-orders for the latest iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max in India, ahead of the launch on September 28th.
