Samsung just launched the Galaxy S10 Lite in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display, is powered by Snapdragon 855 with 8GB of RAM, runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 and packs a 48MP main camera with Super Steady Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), gimbal-like hardware that tilts the camera unit to ensure blur free action-focused photos and videos, 12MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro camera. The Super Steady OIS adds UHD quality to your videos even in low-light conditions, says Samsung. It features Zoom-in Mic, which features three microphones to effectively target and enhance the sound in real time. Xiaomi and Samsung continue to lead India smartphone market as realme declines in Q4 2019

The festive season during Q4 2019 saw smartphone market share grow for all major smartphone companies with the exception of realme, which saw a significant loss in market share once it peaked during the month of September with 16.74% market share, according to the latest IDC report.

Xiaomi Mi Router 4C with omnidirectional antennas launched in India for Rs. 999

Xiaomi launched the Mi Router 3C back in 2017 and it was due for a refresh for quite some time now. While the company launched Dual Band routers in China, the 3C that was launched here did not support dual-band WiFi. On similar lines now, Xiaomi has launched the single band Mi Router 4C in India and replaces the Mi Router 3C here.

Samsung to build its first display manufacturing plant in India

According to a regulatory filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Samsung is reportedly setting India’s first display manufacturing unit in the outskirts of Delhi. The company is investing over Rs. 3500 crores into this  Samsung Display facility, which will be a part of Samsung India Electronics.

Zomato acquires Uber Eats in India, delivery partners and users transferred to Zomato

Uber launched its online food delivery service Uber Eats back in 2017. Today Zomato has announced that it has acquired Uber Eats’ India business in an all-stock transaction, which gives Uber 9.99% ownership in Zomato. Uber Eats in India will discontinue operations and direct restaurants, delivery partners, and users of the Uber Eats apps to the Zomato platform, effective today.
