A week with the “beautiful” Meizu MX5

Meizu MX5_fonearena-15Meizu, creators of the popular MX series of devices in China, unveiled their latest premium flagship device a week back in China. At the tightly well-presented event, equipped with high resolution projectors, we were shown beautiful images of the MX5. Usually, the real deal is underwhelming compared to its more-than-perfect renders, but this time it was different. The Meizu MX5 was as beautiful as its renders, and consistently stands out from other slabs with its beautifully crafted design which is familiar, yet unique in execution. After a week with the MX5, here are our initial impressions of this beautiful device.

Typically every year at MWC, Sony announces a new Z series smartphone and many were expecting to see a Sony XPERIA Z4 launched at MWC this year. Well yes, now we do have a Z4/Z3+ however Sony didn’t leave the announcements dry at MWC. What we got from them is the Sony XPERIA M4 Aqua which is the first smartphone from Sony that is waterproof yet has an unprotected microUSB port. The new Z4/Z3+ do adopt a similar method but it first came out with the M4 Aqua. The M4 Aqua which is the successor of the first M2 Aqua (Weird naming scheme I agree) was launched as a dual SIM variant here in India. So in this review we will be taking a look at the Sony XPERIA M4 Aqua Dual to see how well it performs as a smartphone. Whether or not it is a worthy successor to the M2 Aqua and whether it is worth its price.

OPPO N3 Review

The N3 is the successor to the OPPO N1. Like the original the N3 also has a rotating camera module but instead of having to rotate it yourself, OPPO have bundled it with a motor that does the job for you. It builds on the same design as well but opts for a smaller screen size. Overall it is based on the same formula but a bit more refined to enhance user experience.
