The LG Optimus 3D 2, successor of the first Optimus 3D would be thinner and lighter according to ETNews. The successor would be just 9.8mm thick that is 2mm thinner than the existing Optimus 3D at 11.9mm. It is also said to weigh 20g lesser than its predecessor. We’ve had numerous rumors surrounding the launch date of Apple’s next generation iPad. But now it seems we have a different launch date according to sources.
Samsung which is known for it’s grand press conferences at MWC or Mobile World Congress is not hosting any such event this year , not sure why. Sascha Segan from PCMag has learnt from Samsung that they are not hosting any press conference this year during MWC.Samsung is not pulling out of the event. They have a presence at AppPlanet and a hopefully a booth with those shiny devices and pretty girls.

Last year was not a great year for HTC, their target profit was not achieved and also their devices were overpowered by the smartphones and tablets coming out of Samsung’s camp . Partnership with Beats did not market their products to a great extent. This year they are expecting to make their device superior and more powerful, and they will be leading the charge with is the HTC Edge, a quadcore nVIDIA Tegra 3 powered beast, which they will be showcasing at MWC.
