To protect that lovely device of yours, OtterBox has revealed two new set of cases called Impact and Commuter Series which offer an awesome protection for the device.
[caption id="attachment_10178" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Impact Series Case"][/caption]
The Impact Series of case for Blackberry Bold 9700 is a skin that is thin, yet protective on the corners. It provides the access to all the phone features and bump and shock protection. Also included in the pack is self-adhering clear protective film and cleaning cloth, to protect your screen from any scrathes. It costs a mere $20 (approx).
[caption id="attachment_10179" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Commuter Series Case"][/caption]
The Commuter Case can aptly be described as the “protection without the bulk”. It carries features of both the Impact Series and Defender Series, combined into one. All the ports are covered through Silicon plugs which can be accessed by removing them, providing safety while not in use. It comes at a higher price of approximate $35.
OtterBox is an innovator of protective solutions for handheld devices, with cases for most of the major manufacturers.

Earlier, we brought to you pictures and information about the Samsung W8200 Giorgio Armani phone. That phone was rumoured to be cancelled and we believe it has been.
Instead, Samsung has announced a handset with very similar yet improved features.
Here are the features:
	Windows Mobile 6.5
	3.5" AMOLED Touchscreen Display
	QWERTY Keyboard
	5 Megapixel Camera, GPS
8GB Intenal Memory, micro-SD Card Slot
The phone reminds you a lot of the Nokia N97/Mini. The QWERTY Keyboard being nearly identical.
The cost however will be much higher for the Giorgio Armani as it's a fashion phone and it should cost you around 1000 US$.

Nokia had called this headset a Flagship headset. So to check out what makes this headset different from their earlier products that this has been given the flagship status we checked out the product sites and thought to share this with you as BH-905 can be a great accessory with your mobile phone or that matter any portable device having A2DP bluetooth support or a 3.5mm plugin jack.
This headset as described by Nokia on their Conversations blog is "a different beast that has been engineered and crafted into what can only be described as a flagship headphone accessory". The headset is high on active noise cancellation technology so much so that Nokia call themselves the technology leaders, the first company in the world to bring this technology to the consumers. So how is the Noise cancellation technology in this product different from other products in the market?? well the very same question arose in my mind and here's how it ...

The Sony Ericsson Jalou has just been announced and our friends at GSMHelpdesk have gotten their hands on a Jalou and posted their views and pictures of the device.
They start off by saying that this latest offering from Sony Ericsson is a feature packed fashion device but due to the exquisite design, it is more of a fashion accessory. They comment on the very small size of the phone. The internal display of the phone can be converted into a mirror with the touch of a button and so it doubles up as a make-up mirror for women!
They then go on and discuss about other aspects of the phone in detail.

The LG Chocolate which was introduced by LG in 2006 was the most popular phone in the company's history. The original Chocolate phone managed to sell over 21 million handsets worldwide. LG is now paving the way for a successor to the LG Chocolate to celebrate it's success.
The new phone will be the fourth in the LG Black Label series of phones and will be designed by the same team that originally created the first Chocolate. The phone is set to be officially announced in August but LG have already made available to us both the image and video previews.
The phone is said to be an iPhone killer and should have BL40 as model number although it may change.
The phone is also set to have some very revolutionary features:
4inch Touch- Screen with resolution of 800*345 pixels and for the first time on a mobile, screen with 21:9 aspect ratio. Actually it's just recently that the first 21:9 aspect TVs were announced by Philips, so this is a remarkable achievement.
It is also rumoured to sport a 5 Megapixel camera.
	HSDPA, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Multi-Touch, Flash Based 3D UI
Here's the video of the phone in action:

On 16th October, 2008, Fonearena was represented by Ritu at the ITC Grand Central, Mumbai where a demo of the Windows Mobile 6.1 on the Samsung Omnia was given to three mobile phone enthusiasts (Ankit Saxena and Rupesh from the WATblog were co-invitees).
Microsoft was represented by Sumeet Gugnani, Director – Mobile Communications Business, who also enlightened the bloggers on the rise of MS in the world of mobile phones.
“We have a 33% share in the market of hi-end convergence devices (devices that are not only business phones, but also pack in multimedia features, a good camera and a simple UI)” revealed Sumeet.
According to him Microsoft moved up sales from 1 lac per annum about a year ago, to 1 lac in the last quarter alone. That’s a stupendous growth by any standards!
He also took us through the value propositions of the MS package vis-à-vis others.
The companies offering Windows Mobile range from HTC, ASUS, Motorola, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson, iMate, Palm etc

He highlighted the HTC Diamond, Sony Ericsson Xperia (soon to be launched in India) and the Samsung Omnia as flagship Windows Mobile handsets.

After the Vertu and Motorola partnering with Ferrari, its time for the computer company, who has recently moved into mobile phones, has come with the Asus Lamborghini phone and launched it in India. If you don’t know what is a Lamborghini, then please don’t read further. This Asus Lamborghini ZX1 is a PDA that runs Windows Mobile. The phone, which will be coming to India, will have Touchscreen and carbon fiber feeling, the same form that is available in the original Asus phone that was launched in the month of March, this year.
The phone has a wireless 802.11b+g, Bluetooth v2.0+EDR, USB2.0, 3.5G and also a GPS. The Touchscreen is 2.8’’ and it has a 9 way navigational key, that is shaped like the logo, which has the legendary Lamborghini bull inside it. When it comes to cost, it matched with the cost of the Lamborghini car, the phone will retail at $1200, my take, don’t buy this phone, if you [plan to spend $1200, but a Nokia N95 8GB, instead.

After launching the Levis Original phone Levis has come up with Levis Ultra limited edition phone. Similar to its Red Tab Jeans this mobile phone will also be called the Levis Red Tab handset and this time it is a limited edition phone with just 100 available. The phone sports the famous Levis RedTab and functionality wise it has some features that are pretty old in the era of high-end mobile phones. The Red Tab phone has MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera with flash. I dont know whats the point in Levis launching phones that carry its brand name with zero functions to die for and still prices them at 550 Euros, just some kind of publicity stunt....Levis I am happy with buying your jeans but mobile phones is not your cup of tea....I really mean it.

The company has recently ventured into other men and women accessory. With mobile phone becoming an important accessory of today’s urban individual Levis doesn’t want to be left behind on this front. Levis has launched a mobile phone that is called The Original, which is made of steel and has monoblock design. Levi's The Original has a 2 mega pixel camera with multi-shoot and autotimer, you can shoot videos is 3GP and MPEG format. Rest of the functions are normal; available in any of today’s mobile phones. The name of this phone has been inspired by the Levis series of Jeans, if you remember; it was also called the Levis Original Series, 501. And by the way, you have to pay 500 USD for this one just because it has Levis written on it..what crap, would buy a high-end Nokia N Series instead.

The Guinness Book of World Records announced the LeMillion as the world’s costliest mobile handset. I have observed one thing, all these costly phone makers launch their products in the US or the European countries, I suppose, they think that the elite people, who can afford their mobile handset, stay in these countries. To prove this wrong, I suppose, Softbank, a Japanese mobile service provider is offering a ¥10 million 'Premium Texture' 823SH handset for sale. Softbank is offering only ten handsets. The phone is covered with 400 diamonds from Tiffany Japan and is oomphed up with costly carbon. The front panel comes in different varieties, ranging from wood to crocodile skin (beware of PETA, if you buy this handset). The Japanese service provider has added its own design to these handsets and I am sure this handset will appeal to the snazzy-looking-gadget loving Japanese people.

This concept phone is by BloodRabbit, which he thought of while driving home from work. This mobile phone comes in a see-through body and a basic LCD display; its dimensions are that of a credit card. You are probably scratching your head and wondering how the electronics and other stuff like a battery and camera fits in but this a very futuristic concept phone and we have to assume that, the technology in the future will be able to compress electronics to such a size.
The handset is engraved with 336 Swarovski crystals in a platinum base, and has been custom made by Goldstriker, famous for custom made precious phones and gadgets at a price of $1200.
While Justamp calls it “super luxurious”, Intomobile calls it “gaudy and ostentatious vulgarity.”
