ZTE at the IFA 2018 in Berlin has introduced its flagship Axon 9 Pro smartphone, as it had promised. It has a 6.21-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a notch, support for HDR10, is powered by Snapdragon 845 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, OIS, Dual Pixel auto focus and a secondary 20-megapixel rear camera with 130-degree wide-angle lens and a 20-megapixel front camera. Nubia Z18 with 5.99-inch FHD+ water drop screen, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, AI dual rear cameras to be announced on September 5

ZTE’s Nubia brand has finally announced that its flagship Nubia Z18 smartphone will be introduced on September 5th in China. It got certified by TENAA back in April. The company has confirmed water drop screen for the smartphone, as rumored earlier, as well AI features for the camera.

Australian Govt bans Huawei and ZTE from supplying technology for 5G mobile network

Australian Government  has banned Chinese telecoms firm Huawei Technologies from supplying equipment for a 5G mobile network as it is citing the risk of foreign interference and hacking. However, Beijing dismissed saying it as an“excuse” to tilt the playing field against a Chinese firm. ZTE Axon 9 to be announced at IFA on August 30

ZTE has announced an event at the IFA 2018 in Berlin later this month where it is expected to introduce Axon 9, successor of the Axon 7 that was introduced back in 2016, according to the teaser. US commerce department lifts ban on ZTE after Final deposits of $1.4 billion penalty

The US Secretary of Commerce Department on Friday has lifted the ban on American firms selling products to China’s ZTE Corp. With this, the company is removed from all hurdles to start rebuilding its business. US Govt temporarily lifts ban on ZTE, allows to update phones and other equipment

The US Commerce Department has temporarily lifted a portion of the ban on ZTE. The company had to pay $1 billion fine and is now authorized by the United States to continue supporting the existing equipment and consumer devices. This also is designed to keep the company’s infrastructure running and allow it to deliver software/security patch updates to its smartphones. Nubia NX606J smartphone, which is expected to be flagship Z18 was certified by TENAA in China back in April with 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, Snapdragon 845 SoC , up to 8GB RAM, dual rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3350mAh battery, but the phone is yet to go official. Now a new Nubia smartphone has surfaced on State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) in China.

President Trump orders ZTE to pay $1.3 billion for sanctions, change management for ban to be lifted

Back in April, US Govt has banned ZTE for violating the terms of a sanctions settlement. The company was caught illegally shipping goods to Iran, the U.S said the officials. ZTE then responded and said the verdict is unfair and threatens the survival. However, Earlier this month, American President Donal Trump Tweeted and pledged to reverse course saying that President Xi of China and him are working together to give ZTE a way to get back into the business, fast. Nubia’s Full Screen 3.0 bezel-less smartphone teased by CEO, could be Nubia Z18

Nubia’s CEO Ni Fei has teased with an image that the company is working on Full Screen 3.0 technology for its upcoming smartphone with minimal bezels. He said that the Z17S, that was introduced in October last year featured high 90.36% screen-to-body ratio, and this phone could come with even higher screen-to-body ratio.

It has a 6-inch FHD+ display, is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and has a new vector aesthetic design 174.5° dot-cutting with 6.85mm at its thinnest point and air-cooled technology with nine heat radiation air slots on the back of the metal body to increase the heat transfer of the mobile phone to keep the phone cool when gaming.
