Xiaomi says it has fixed Mi Home Security Camera bug that displayed pictures from other cameras on Google Nest hub

Xiaomi launched its Home Security Camera earlier this year which supports 1080p recording with AI motion detection, infrared night vision, and more. While there has been a rise in the use and adoption of home security cameras and other smart home devices recently, there are issues related to privacy and security. On similar lines, today, a Xiaomi Security Camera displayed pictures from other cameras on a user’s Google Nest Hub and this issue has affected a group of users.

Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 5 Pro with Pixel Experience

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018. The company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) update to the smartphone back in May this year, the device is almost 18 months old and has already received two Android updates. It is almost certain that Xiaomi will not update the Android version on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but in case you own a Redmi Note 5 Pro and wish to keep your device updated with the latest Android version, you may try a custom ROM. Redmi K30 5G with 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 765G, liquid cooling, 64MP quad rear cameras to go on sale in China starting from Jan 7

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand announced the Redmi K30 5G and 4G versions at an event in China earlier this month. Even though 4G version of the phone went on sale China from December 12th, the company said that the Redmi K30 5G will go on sale from January 2020. Today it has confirmed that the first sale of the phone will happen starting from January 7th. Even though this might be the first phone to be announced with Snapdragon 765G, the OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G which was introduced last week will be the first Snapdragon 765G-powered phone that will be available in China from tomorrow, December 31st. Xiaomi leads Smart TV sales in Q3 2019 with 69% YoY growth: IDC

Xiaomi has claimed yet again the top spot for the Smart TV segment in Q3 2019 in the world, the International Data Corporation (IDC) reports. The MiTV saw a growth of 46% compared to the same quarter last year and an impressive 69% growth YoY.
