Xiaomi under its Redmi brand just launched the Redmi 9 Power, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi 9 series as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD Dotdrop screen with 90.34% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC, 48-megapixel primary rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel 4cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Xiaomi just launched the Mi QLED TV, the company’s latest smart TV in India, as it had promised.  The 4K TV has Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) support and uses quantum dot technology equipped with Quantum Dot nanocrystals to emit pure colours and enhance image vibrancy and the Reality Flow tech offering blur-free rendering of high-speed action for sportscasts, games and much more with the dedicated MEMC chip. Xiaomi introduces Mi Reader Pro with 7.8-Inch 300 PPI e-Ink screen, adjustable warm light, 32GB storage

Xiaomi has announced Mi Reader Pro, the company’s latest eReader and the successor of Mi Reader that was introduced last year. It has a large 7.8-inch (1872 x 1404 pixels) flat e-Ink screen with 330PPI pixel density. There is 24-level adjustable front-lit LED adjustable reading light that lets you  customize the color tone from cool to warm to easily transition from daytime to a comfortable nighttime reading experience. It supports voice search and automatically locates keywords, making typing faster, searching and reading easier.

Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite with 1.4-inch display, GPS, 11 sports modes, 50-meter water resistance announced

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand introduced the Redmi Watch in China last month. Now it has silently introduced the Mi Watch Lite for the global markets which has similar design and almost similar specifications as the Redmi Watch that includes a 1.4-inch touch color LCD screen with 120+ watch faces, 24-hour heart rate monitoring and 50-meter (5 ATM) water resistance, but this also comes with GPS support. After teaser Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today confirmed the launch of Redmi 9 Power, the company’s new Redmi 9 series smartphone in India on December 17th, and the phone will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to mi.com and other stores offline. Redmi 7, Redmi Y3, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6A won’t get MIUI 12 update, confirms Xiaomi

Xiaomi announced MIUI 12 Global along with the roll-out schedule back in May. As per the schedule, devices such as Redmi 7, Redmi Y3, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6A were kept in the second phase to receive MIUI 12 Global Stable update. Now, the company has confirmed that these devices will not be receiving MIUI 12 Global Stable update. The company has cited compatibility and performance issues behind taking the decision.

Xiaomi to launch Mi QLED TV 4K with Dolby vision, HDMI 2.1 in India on December 16

After teasers, Xiaomi today confirmed the launch of Mi QLED TV 4K in India on December 16th and will be sold on Flipkart in addition to Mi.com and Mi stores. The company introduced several QLED TV models in the Mi TV 5 Pro series in China back in November last year. In India it is planning to launch 55-inch QLED TV under ‘Make in India’ initiative. Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro Review

After launch of its flagship Mi 10 earlier this year, Xiaomi launched the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones in India in October. This has the same 108MP main rear camera and Snapdragon 865 5G SoC as the Mi 10, but this comes with a 144Hz refresh rate LCD screen and a bigger 5000mAh battery. The top-end Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz 6-stop variable refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 3.8mm tiny notch that houses a 16MP camera. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 750G 7nm Mobile platform with 5G SA/NSA support, 360° antennas, 3 dimension liquid cooling that can reduce the temperature up to 5℃ and comes with glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Redmi Note 7/7S MIUI Software Update Tracker [Update: Android 10 based MIUI 12.0.1.0 Stable Update with October Android Security Patch]

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and launched the updated Redmi Note 7S with 48 MP rear camera in May 2019 running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). Get Android 11 on Redmi Note 8/8T with Extended UI 2.0

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 in India almost a year back. The smartphone recently started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update in several regions including India. Though Google, a couple of months back, officially announced Android 11, some users of Redmi Note 8 – which was the best-selling Android smartphone in the first quarter, are yet to receive Android 10 update on their devices (we too have not received the update on our device yet).

Xiaomi introduced 33W fast charging support in India in Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphone earlier this year, later it brought the support in Mi 10 and most recently the Mi 10T Pro, and even  the POCO M2 Pro and POCO X3 support it.
