It has a 4.8-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Rumors about the Sony Xperia Z3 (D6653) started few weeks back. Earlier this month a screenshot from the smartphone revealed the model number, Snapdragon 801 processor, 1080p display and Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. Now @evleaks has revealed more details about the smartphone. According to the leak, the smartphone would feature a 5.15-inch 1080p display, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.

Sony introduced the Wireless Charging Cover WCR12 and Wireless Charging Plate WCH10 for the Xperia Z2 back in May. Today online retailer Clove that started taking pre-orders for the WCR12 Wireless Charging Cover soon after the announcement, said that Sony has confirmed them that product will not be coming to market, despite earlier confirmations. Sony started rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Xperia T2 Ultra (v19.1.A.0.473) and its dual SIM variant T2 Ultra Dual (19.1.C.0.116) from yesterday. The new update brings option to move apps to the microSD card in addition to new features. This was not mentioned in the official changelog from Sony.
