Samsung has launched Galaxy On8, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘On series’ in India, after teasing the smartphone last week. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7580 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has an LED flash. Samsung Galaxy C9 with Snapdragon 652, 6GB RAM surfaces in benchmarks

Samsung introduced the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones in the new ‘C Series’ in China back in May. Now the Galaxy C9 (SM-C9000) has surfaced in Geekbench benchmark listing. Samsung just announced On7 (2016) successor of last year’s Galaxy On7 smartphone in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button for unlocking and mobile payments using Alipay. Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy J7 Prime (SM-G610F) and also launched a new Galaxy J5 Prime smartphone in India. The J7 Prime packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass  protection and is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core processor, while the J5 Prime comes with a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a quad-core processor. After announcing a global recall of the Galaxy Note7 phones earlier this month over battery exploding issues, last week Samsung announced that it is working with United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for a formal and complete recall of the phone in the U.S. Today both Samsung and CPSC have announced official recall of 1 million units of Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones sold from August 2016 through September 15, 2016.
