OPPO A55 with 50MP triple rear cameras launching in India on October 1

After confirming the launch of F19s smartphone on Flipkart on September 27th, OPPO today started teasing the launch of a new A series phones on Amazon.in on October 1st. Even though the teaser just shows the side profile of the phone and says it’s an A series model, this will be the OPPO A55. Even though OPPO already introduced the A55 5G in some markets earlier this year, the one that is launching in India next week will be a 4G model. OPPO A16 with 6.52-inch display, 5000mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 13990

OPPO has launched A16, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the A-series in India, as a successor to the A15 that was launched last year. It has a 6.52-inch HD+ Waterdrop notch screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. OPPO K9 Pro 5G with 6.43-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 1200, up to 12GB RAM listed online ahead of launch

After rumours and certification, OPPO K9 Pro, the company’s new K series phone has been listed online in China. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, it will launch in China on September 26th. It already got certified by TENAA revealing the complete specifications of the phone. It is expected to come with 60W charging for the first time. OPPO Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage and OPPO Watch 2 ECG Edition announced

OPPO confirms ColorOS 12 launch for September 16 along with new products

Update – September 13: OPPO today confirmed that ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 will be introduced at an event in China on September 16. This has the tag line “One More Step”. We can expect ColorOS 12 beta for flagship products soon after the announcement, but the stable release and the global roll-out is expected only later this year. It has also confirmed the launch of new products which could be Reno 7 series, new smartwatch that might be OPPO Watch Free and a new tablet. OPPO Reno6 5G Review: A cheaper version of the Reno6 Pro?

When OPPO launched the Reno6 series smartphones, it came in two variants, a regular Reno6 and a more expensive Reno6 Pro. The Reno6 Pro, while having a great camera for a smartphone, is priced at Rs. 39990, which is quite expensive for a mid-range smartphone. OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G Review: A good camera smartphone for under Rs. 40000

Over the last few years, the OPPO Reno smartphone series has been a great example of excellent mid-range devices with impressive camera capabilities. The latest to join the family for Indian customers is the Reno6 series, which consists of two devices – the Reno6 and the Reno6 Pro.

At Rs. 39990, the Reno6 Pro does demand a premium price for a mid-range device, and for that it promises to be a smartphone with a great design, reasonable specs and impressive camera capabilities. Does OPPO deliver on these promises, though? Read on to find out in my review of the Reno6 Pro.
