Micromax unveiled the Canvas Knight A350 at an event in Russia last month. The company has announced that the smartphone would hit the Indian market soon and has also released a teaser video. The Canvas Knight has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 2 GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Looks like the company is also working on their first water and dust-proof smartphone, according to new leak from the MMXNewscaster. Couple of months back Micromax and MTS partnered to launch the Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 Dual SIM (CDMA+GSM) smartphone. The Micromax Canvas Duet 2 would be the company’s first smartphone in the Canvas series with dual SIM GSM and CDMA support. According to Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom, the smartphone would be priced at Rs. 15,790 and would go on sale later in a couple of days. Among many other trends, Samsung also started this “mini” variant trend, of its single flagship device in its portfolio. The idea was to offer a small screened version of the much loved flagship, at a lesser price that everyone can afford. This trend was followed by HTC with their One mini and even Sony, with their Z1 compact, which is possibly the best implementation without compromises till date. In that line of “mini” devices, we now have our own Micromax with their “mini” version of the popular flagship – Canvas Turbo. Appropriately named the Micromax Canvas Turbo mini A200, the phone takes its screen size and the specs a notch down, to compete with devices in a different price segment. The Bolt A24 has a 2.8-inch QVGAscreen, powered by a 1 GHz Spreadrtum SC6820 processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
