The image says new series will be unveiled, and the tag line says ‘See what surprise LG has in store for you this time, with an unexpected distinction’. LG Vu Talk Demo

We had shown you the hands on of the LG Optimus Vu II earlier, and with the Vu II comes an interesting real-time collaboration feature that might impress you at first sight, and that is called Vu Talk. Vu Talk works between two Optimus Vu devices over a 3G or a WiFi network. It’s basically like real-time messaging but using a stylus-laden note taking app. Check out the really impressive demo of the Vu Talk in the hands on video.

LG Optimus L7 II Dual with 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1 surface

LG Optimus L7 II Dual, the successor of the LG Optimus L7 has surfaced in an Russian site. It would have Dual SIM support, and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the Optimus L3 Dual and the Optimus Net Dual. It would feature a 4.3 inch IPS display similar to Optimus L7, but replaces the 1 GHz Cortex A5 processor for a 1 GHz dual-core processor. It would run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with a 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. It would obviously have a front-facing camera. White Nexus 4 spotted in the wild

Remember the White Galaxy Nexus that went official last year, months after the release of the Black version? Now, images of the White Nexus 4 has surfaced online. The phone looks gorgeous. It has a black bezel around the display with white finish on the sides and the back, similar to the white Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus and LG branding are in black, in contrast to the black version. LG Optimus Vu II hands-on

LG showed off the Optimus Vu II, their latest phablet at the CES 2013 that already launched in Korea last year. We got some hands-on time with the device that has a 5-inch (1,024 x 768 pixels) IPS display with a 4:3 Aspect Ratio similar to the Optimus Vu. 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor powers the device and it runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with Optimus UI 3.0 on top. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update expected soon. It has a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and a expandable memory card slot.

LG Optimus G global roll out starts this month, launching in over 50 countries

LG has announced that the Optimus G would be rolled out in over 50 countries starting this month. The LG Optimus G was announced back in August, which went on sale in Korea in September 2012, and also launched in United States, Canada and Japan last year. The LG Optimus G Pro, successor of the Optimus G was announced in Japan earlier today, but no details about the global launch for that device yet. LG Optimus G Pro announced in Japan, 5-inch 1080p display and 3000 mAh battery

NTT Docomo has announced the LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) in their Spring lineup that comes in the docomo NEXT series. The LG Optimus G Pro first showed up in a leaked slide last week. It packs a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).  It comes with a whopping 3,000 mAh battery. LG rubbishes Nexus 4 supply issues and new Nexus device

Just some time back Google was talking about the supply of the Nexus 4 from LG scarce and erratic. The devices went out of sale from the Play store real quick and haven’t found its way back since then. There were also reports about LG stalling Nexus 4 manufacturing as it will be bringing a new Nexus device and LG has scrapped this news too.

LG demos Panorama Note for Optimus Vu 2 at CES, coming to select Optimus devices in 2013

LG has announced that they would demonstrate Panorama Note, a new feature for the Optimus Vu 2 at CES 2013. The Panorama Note would let uses create extra wide 3:1 ratio memos and drawings directly on smartphone displays. The Wide 3:1 ratio image provides free hand drawing or jotting notes easy. LG Optimus devices already have Q memo to jot quick note, but the Panorama Note feature has 5.8 times zooming capability, easy navigation both horizontally and vertically, and mini map to make large notes. The first battle of the Round 2 just got over, with the Nokia 808 PureView yet again coming out on top. While one PureView is now ready for the final battle, the other one is now locked into a battle of platforms with the pure Google device that slaughtered the iPhone 5 in its previous encounter. LG Optimus G vs Nokia 808 PureView #BOTF12 Round 2

After a resounding victory for the Nexus 4 over the Apple iPhone 5, here comes the first battle of the penultimate round of Battle of the flagships 2012. After the round 1, four devices have emerged as winners, two from one sided battles and the other two from fierce neck to neck battles. The ones from the fierce neck to neck battle have been chosen as the first candidates for this battle. Yes, LG Optimus G won by a narrow 30 votes vs the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Nokia 808 PureView won against the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 by a even narrower 20 votes. Apple iPhone 5 vs Google Nexus 4 #BOTF12 Round 1

After yet another close-call battle ending up in Nokia’s favour as the 808 PureView came out as the winner, we are now onto the grand finale battle of Round 1. Yes, when we say “Grand finale” battle of the Round 1, we mean it. The original iPhone was supposed to be the Google phone with Google itself, a partner of various services that debuted on the iPhone, but as the industry changed, a lot of things have changed. Google has been at the forefront of the Android juggernaut that is currently the most used smartphone software on the planet and hence, it is a no brainer that Google has its own range of Android devices, called the “Nexus”. And their flagship smartphone? The Google Nexus 4. Made with LG’s help and partnership, it is all set to take on the iPhone in the real world as well as here. Let the battle begin then!

LG Optimus 2X Android 4.0 update now available in India

LG Optimus 2X (LGP990) users have finally received the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update in India. LG started rolling out the ICS update for Korean users back in August and for European users, earlier this month. The LG Optimus 2X launched in India last April with Android 2.2 (Froyo) on-board and later received the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) back in November.
