LG Optimus L5 II (E450) got priced earlier this month along with the L3 II. The Optimus L3 II went on sale recently, now the L5 II is available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 4-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and packs a 1700 mAh battery. These run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II and their dual SIM variants earlier this February. We reported last month that the Optimus G Pro would launch in India in June. Now, LG has officially announced that the phone would be released in Asian markets including India in June. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February and went on sale in Korea on February 21st. The Optimus G Pro (L-04E) went on sale in Japan last month. LG announced the white version of its popular Nexus 4 smartphone today and the phone is already available on Flipkart. The specifications of the handset remain identical to those on the black variant with the only difference being the color.
LG have opted to go for a two tone finish with a black bezel on the front and a white finish on the sides, back of the handset. LG Electronics (LG) has officially announced the rumored White Nexus 4 in collaboration with Google. The specifications of the device is similar to the original Nexus 4 that was announced back in October last year and officially launched in India recently. It black bezel on the front with white finish on the sides and the back. It has Nexus and LG branding in White, unlike the images that surfaced online. LG has started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Optimus L7 in India. The Optimus L7 was announced back in February 2012 and released in India last June. LG has announced the Optimus GJ (E975W), the company’s first waterproof smartphone in Taiwan. It has similar specs as the Optimus G including a 4.7-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS + Display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) processor. It has IPX7 ratings for water resistance. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It is slightly thicker than the Optimus G at 9.39 grams but it lighter than it at 141 grams. Even though this is a waterproof phone, this has a removable cover and replaceable battery. Over at the SID display exhibition in Vancouver, LG plans to show off its new unbreakable and flexible OLED panel. This 5 inch panel would be in addition to the 55 inch OLED TV that they previously talked about. The OLED panel targets mobile devices and has a display constructed of plastic. This plastic construction makes it flexible and unbreakable.

Google is yet to release the Nexus 4 in India on their official Play Store, but the phone has appeared on the online retail site Flipkart at a price tag of Rs. 25,990. Google started selling the Nexus 7 through their official Play Store in India back in March 2013 and the Nexus 4 page on the Google Play said it is not available in India. The 3G version of the Nexus 7 went on sale from retail stores last month and from online retailers earlier this month, but it is not available from Google Play Store. The Optimus it has a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display, powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064T processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13.2-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, BSI sensor for better low-light imaging and a 1.4-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor. It is 10.5mm thick and weighs 131 grams. LG has announced that they would launch LTE TDD capable smartphones globally starting from Saudi Arabia with its flagship Optimus G smartphone on the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) network. LG has also confirmed that they would release LTE TDD-enabled smartphones in other countries China, India, North America, Japan and Australia later this year.
