LG G3 announced, comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 801 and Laser AF

LG has just announced the G3, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series and the successor of last year’s G2. As we all know, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD display, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new flat UI, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flashes and a new Laser AF that should provide fast focus, even in low light conditions. The camera will supports 4K video recording and the G3 also comes with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera that lets you capture images with just a simple hand gesture. Previously believed to be metal, the G3 is actually made of plastic, but with an advantage of a removable back cover that reveals the replaceable 3000 mAH battery and the card slots. The LG G2 already had a great sealed battery, but the G3’s removable option gives the choice for people who might want it. LG G Pad 7.0 live images surface, specs detailed

Images of the LG G Pad 7.0 has been leaked by a French website FrAndroid before the official launch. Announced earlier this month, LG G Pad 7.0 is the smallest tablet in the G Pad series which also has G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1.

LG L80 Dual gets priced on official India website at Rs. 17500

LG unveiled the L Series III lineup that includes L40, L70 and L90 at the MWC 2014 back in February. Both the L70 Dual and L90 Dual smartphones went on sale in India recently. Today, the LG L80 Dual (D380) has been listed on the official LG India website, priced at Rs. 17,500 (MRP). Even though the phone was showcased at the MWC earlier this year, press images of the LG L80 Dual surfaced in Russia last month and it went on the official Russian website few weeks back. LG confirms Android KitKat update to G Pro Lite and L9 II

LG is rolling out Android KitKat update to G Pro Lite and Optimus L9 II according to the LG Italy’s Facebook Page. As per the announcement, the L9 II will receive the 4.4.2 KitKat update “in the coming weeks” while the G Pro Lite towards the end of Q2. However, there are reports coming from Slovakia that L9 II has already starting receiving the update.

LG G3 Wireless Charging dock leaked ahead of release

Last week leaked presentation slides confirmed all the specifications of the much anticipated smartphone LG G3. The company also announced QuickCircle Cases for its upcoming flagship smartphone that is scheduled for a launch this week on May 27th. These folder-style case lets users check the time, place calls, send text messages, take photos, listen to music and more from the circular window, without opening the phone. More leaks related to accessories of the phone have surfaced online over the weekend.

LG unveiled the L Series III devices, the L40, L70 and L90 at the MWC 2014. It also showcased the L65 and the L35 at the event, but it didn’t officially announce them. The LG L65 Dual went on sale in Russia last month, now the LG L35, an entry-level Android smartphone with 3G support is listed on the official German website. The single SIM variant of the L65 that surfaced online last month has also been listed on the website. LG has unveiled Tone Infinim (HBS-900), its new premium Bluetooth stereo headset developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon. Earlier this year, LG showed off its next large format device ie the G Pro 2. Launched in India earlier this month, the phone brings high end specifications and a giant sized display that is well suited for multimedia consumption. Powered by a 2.26Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, the G Pro 2 packs enough firepower to drive any game or high resolution content that you might throw at it. Unlike the LG G2 that had absolutely stellar battery life, we feel that the 3200 mAh unit here wasn’t entirely adequate which is in all likelihood because of the large 5.9 inch panel.
