Along with the Z5, Lenovo also introduced budget K5 Note and A5 smartphones in China. Both these have 6-inch and 5.45-inch HD+ displays with 18:9 aspect ratio, respectively. Lenovo just announced the Z5, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the ‘Z series’ in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch and 90% screen-to-body ratio, even though the company teased it as a bezel-less smartphone. Earlier this week Lenovo confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Z5 smartphone with bezel-less display at an event in Beijing on June 5th. Since then the company had been teasing the phone in several images, but it is yet to reveal the image of the bezel-less screen. Today an alleged render of the phone has surfaced in China that shows the near bezel-less screen and the front camera is present in the centre of the bottom bezel. After several teasers Lenovo has confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Z5 smartphone with bezel-less display at an event in Beijing on June 5th. The company’s CEO already confirmed that the phone has 18 patented technologies implemented, and the phone will have AI-powered dual rear cameras, however he busted the rumors that said that it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Earlier this week Lenovo announced that it will introduce the next ‘S series’ smartphone on March 20th, which is expected to be Lenovo S5. Today Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun announced on weibo that the powerful Redmi Note 5 (that was launched asRedmi Note 5 Pro in India) with Snapdragon 636 and 6GB RAM will launch in China on March 16th.
