Honor just announced Magic, the company’s latest smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.09-inch Quad HD 3D curved glass AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with new Honor Magic Live OS. It has dual 12-megapixel rear cameras promising brilliant image quality in low-light conditions, similar to the Honor 8. Honor Magic concept smartphone to be announced on December 16

Huawei’s Honor brand today announced that it will introduce Magic, its first concept smartphone on December 16th. The company did not reveal any details about the upcoming smartphone. Honor CEO George Zhao on weibo said “In addition to enhancing the quality and specifications, we need even more Honor from the heart”. Huawei Honor 6S with 4G VoLTE, Snapdragon 435 surfaces

Huawei’s Honor brand had announced Honor 6X in October this year. Now, it looks like the company is bringing another phone in the Honor 6 series. According to a tipster @krispitech, the Chinese smartphone maker is working on Honor 6S.

Huawei confirms Android 7.0 Nougat update for range of smartphones, roll out begins Q1 2017

Huawei introduced the Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro flagship smartphones last month running Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Emotion UI 5.0. Recently the company confirmed the list of devices that will get Android Nougat update. Huawei plans to roll out Nougat update staring from Q1 2017 for its smartphones. Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei P9 smartphones will get the update first and few other devices will get it few weeks after that. Huawei introduced its flagship Mate 9 smartphone at en event in Germany earlier this month, it also introduced a high-end variant of the phone called the Mate 9 Pro in China earlier this week, now it has introduced Mate 9 Lite, a cheaper variant with dual rear camera arrangement. This uses a 12-megapixel with 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF for 0.3-second quick focus along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. Huawei today at its Mate 9 event also introduced Huawei Fit, a fitness watch with heart rate monitoring, automatic step counting, sleep tracking and support for multi-sport activities such as Walking, Running, Cycling, Treadmill and Swimming. It also provides comprehensive and customized running programs and offers real-time coaching; after a run the watch displays VO2 max, recovery time and a training score. This gives you an indication of cardio-respiratory fitness and a recovery time assessment. Huawei has announced Enjoy 6, successor of Enjoy 5 that was introduced back in October last year, in China. It has a 5-inch HD AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI 4.1. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Enjoy 5.
