Huawei’s Honor brand introduced Honor 8 Lite, a cheaper version of its flagship Honor 8 smartphone in Finland earlier this month. Now it has introduced the smartphone in China along with the Honor V9. It has a 12-megapixel single rear camera instead of dual 12-megapixel rear cameras on the Honor 8, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 655 processor and runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 out of the box. Huawei’s Honor brand has announced Honor V9, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the honor series. It packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 960 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5 on top. It has dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with laser auto focus and 1.76-micron pixel size promising brilliant image quality in low-light conditions. Huawei’s Honor brand has finally started rolling out EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Honor 8 (FRD-L04) smartphone in the U.S. In addition to Android Nougat, the EMUI 5.0 also brings a range of UI changes including changes to Home-screen Interface, Notification Shade, App Drawer, Recent Apps and more.

Huawei’s Honor brand today announced that it will unveil Honor V9, successor of last year’s Honor V8 at an event in Beijing on February 21st. It got certified by TENAA recently that confirms most of the specifications, including a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera similar to the Honor V8, but this is expected to powered by Kirin 960 SoC and pack 6GB of RAM. Honor 6X 4GB RAM variant will go on sale today on Amazon India

Huawei’s Honor brand launched the Honor 6X smartphone last month in India starting at Rs. 12,999. The 3GB RAM version of the smartphone went on sale exclusively on Amazon.in in the first flash sale last Thursday, February 2nd, which went out of stock in a matter of minutes, according to the company. Today in the second sale Honor said that the 4GB RAM version will also be available for purchase in addition to 3GB RAM variant starting at 2PM. It is easy to talk about camera specifications and say that X Megapixels or a certain pixel size and sensor size would yield certain results. However, a real life scenario is where the smartphone camera is actually put to the test and what better way to put a phone through its paces than a photowalk. Huawei’s Honor brand introduced the Honor 6X smartphone with dual rear cameras for the global markets at the CES 2017 last month. It was launched in India a couple of weeks back and went on sale exclusively on  Amazon.in in the first flash sale yesterday. The phone currently runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with the company’s own EMUI 4.1 on top. Now the company has promised to roll out EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.0 (Nougat) starting from next month. The main difference is that this has a 12-megapixel single rear camera instead of dual 12-megapixel rear cameras on the Honor 8. This also comes with a less powerful Kirin 655 processor, similar to the Honor 6X instead of Honor 8’s Kirin 950 SoC, but this runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.0 out of the box.
