HTC U12 Life with 6-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636, dual rear cameras, Dual Tone Liquid finish announced

HTC has announced U12 Life, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone ahead of IFA, as expected. It has a 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by Snapdragon 636 with 4GB of RAM, has a 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture portrait shots, Dual LED display, along with a 13-megapixel front camera with LED flash.

HTC schedules an event on August 30, U12 Life with 6-inch Full HD+ display, dual-rear cameras expected

HTC confirms Android 9.0 (Pie) update for some of its devices

Google released Android 9.0 (Pie) earlier this week for its Pixel devices and also said that it is working with several OEMs to roll out the update. HTC has launched Desire 12 and Desire 12+ smartphones in the Desire series. These were announced back in March and have 5.5-inch and 6-inch HD+ full-screen displays, and the similarity ends there. It has a 6-inch QHD+ display with support for HDR10, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by Snapdragon 845 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with HTC Sense UI, has a 12MP Wide-angle rear camera with HTC UltraPixel 4, OIS along with a 16MP Telephoto camera. There is also 8MP dual front camera 84° field of view, Bokeh mode, AR sticker, Face unlock and more.
